I have been considering laser eye surgery for many years but could not easily proceed because I was employed as a commercial pilot. Now that I have retired I am going to see what they can offer me. The token you always get when youre famous and thriving: jealous people. It makes you even vulnerable to cyber bully. From the issue I feel it couldve been better handled by the so called academician rather than embarrass you *publicly*. In which they know full well could give you a backlash by other random keyboard masters. I hope you comeback stronger after the setback. Im all the more pissed off about the Black Matter case. What's the problem of trying to cherish them to celebrate the day? If its not something you usually do at least that's your first step to reach out to them. How can they be super small minded?... Please don't be sad, we all know you mean well and you had only pure intentions to teach, to introduce your culture, and to spread positivity. Even if they said the pronunciation was a bit off yada yada yada, that is just how you speak that language. Many many dialects to learn, and your content is just one of them so I dont get why theyre so mad about it and make it such a big deal. Something that could have been worded better rather than lashing out at someone innocent. I truly respect you for being humble and rationale throughout the whole process but believe me you did nothing wrong for being nice. Much love💕

Sadly, what you mentioned around 2 min is so true. I hear such comments all the time and it seems unfair, but I suppose it is the unsaid bitter truth not just about England, but all over the world. Reminded me of the book, the Social Animal. People make snap judgements. Someone with a non-British accent has to prove themselves twice as hard that they are good enough, and a similar judgement is made about regional accents as well, with RP being perceived to be at the pedestal. I suppose the real mistake was to make a video about it!

i know i'm really late to this video but i just came across it. I really wanted to do the smile surgery at the london vision clinic but i found out in my recent eye test that i have -0.25 sphere astigmatism in both eyes (i also have myopia in both eyes of -3.00) but i thought that i couldnt do this surgery because astigmastism involves correction in more than one plane. It would be so kind of you to please give me some assurance that it is possible. I have really been upset thinking that i may not be able to get this surgery done even with my very low astigmatism. Thank you x

Ahhh, Lucy🤭 I had the same experience at my school: this negative attitude, the absence of understanding about the final goal of school education, and my huge desire to escape to music school lessons. Even my old perfume, "Rigas Lilac", reminded me of those times. I was a big fan of that smell but I am not pretty sure that now I can use it!
