Accounting is much more interesting than finance, lol. Accounting isn't just the best business degree, it's the best undergraduate major overall. ROI on engineering is not worth it atm, but average computer science grads are suffering the most out of any major.

A few slip ups in the cutting and merging of clips in this one. Still great to get another AJ video. As a candidate it would be scary to have faith the algorithm will help you cover everything without blind spots!

I think The Plain Bagel sets the perfect example for "enough editing/effects in the right places to be engaging, but not too much as to become distracting." And you're finding that balance here too which is great

Those figures seem super high. My guess is charterholders who are proud of their salary are more likely to complete the survey.
@straighttalks-ajsrmek3236 күн бұрын
You are likely correct. But I really don't think the numbers here are too much higher than true averages. Just based on anecdotal evidence.

I disagreed with the video before, i think iq is quite important to conceptualise some topics and solve questions in the exam. Because mock and real exam can be some what different and requires some inference and examines whether you can apply your knowledge (from my experience) i have iq of 126 (recently tested online not sure how accurate this result is) but i passed Cfa level2 slightly above the borderline

I am 24 with no formal education but currently working on my SIE, it feels fairly easy going and is pretty much all self taught stuff. I feel pretty confident I am going to pass. I eventually want to go down the CFA route but I am going to need work experience beforehand. I am thinking of possibly pursuing an FMVA and learning Python in the meantime for further personal knowledge and to add to my resume. My question would be what entry level jobs could/should I apply for upon passing the SIE and do you have any suggestions on what to do next? Really enjoying the content.

As a fully licensed internal wholesaler, 90-100k comp, 1 year of exp, would you recommend switching to Schwab/Fidelity and grind a few years there , heard the FCs there clear 170-250ish, or an RIA instead? Any other alternatives you’d recommend?
@straighttalks-ajsrmek323Ай бұрын
RIA or independent financial planning practice is best IMO. But Schwab or Fidelity is good if you want to work remote or in a big city.

What about financial advisors who are brought in without a promise of clientele, who have to build their own book from scratch (family and friends) and sell them insurance products to stay alive the first few years? Would you say this is tough to break into?

No those jobs are easy to get. But they are not a good way to start out in the industry imo.

Hello mate, I see you have quite a few likes and views on this video. But overall you are doing an excellent job and I really appreciate your videos, like a good vine it is not a mass product. Anyway, sorry if I missed the topic previously, but could you please share your thoughts on the idea of getting CFA at 40. 10 years ago I moved to live in a new county in EU, I tried the CFA Level 1 a few times (last during this 23% pass rate), but I still be keen to get it due to wish to move into finance area and also I really like the content of CFA - just finished my Masters in Finance, nice one, but still be long away from CFA re curriculum and details.
