Hello AJ, I am a 3rd year BBA student. I know doing plain BBA(I am from India) is like having no hope for career in finance. I am extremely stressed out and to tackle me being unemployed I made a road map that is STEP 1: CLEAR CFA LEVEL 1 ALONG WITH MY 3RD YEAR BBA STEP 2: CLEAR CFA LEVEL 2 ALONG WITH AN INTERNSHIP IN THE FIELD OF FINANCE. STEP 3: AFTER INTERNSHIP GET A JOB AND ALONG WITH THAT CLEAR CFA LEVEL 3. But in this journey I have many doubts. 1st is I am not for a great college so how should I get an internship? How to be skilled enough within this 1 year so that I would get an internship? 2nd question, are these steps enough? or should I do something more? and lastly, IS this entire thing worth it, I'm having self doubts and when the negative side creeps up it always says maybe this is not worth it, give up so is it worth it or should I find another route to enter into the world of finance? I know you have said multiple times CFA is the best course for the finance field. Asking you this once again for my own reassurance.

Hey man, First I would say try not to stress about it too much. You can make anything happen with the right steps. That does sound like a great plan. To get an internship you are just going to have to do a lot of asking around. Watchin my videos on how to get internships.

Hi AJ! I'm sitting for the L3 exam in 2 weeks! Wanted your view on whether one needs to score well in each and every subject or am i safe with an overall score of say 70%? I think you'd posted a video on this but im unable to find it now! It was related to some rule changes this and last year, which were confusing, which stated that a candidate might need to do well in every topic (Example: get over 50% in each and every topic). Is that true? Thanks in advance

If you have an overall above 70% you should be fine! Even if some areas are relatively weak. Best of luck in these final 2 weeks! YOU ARE ALMOST DONE.

Hey AJ, hope you are doing well I actually put CFA level 1 candidate on my resume 😂 . The reason why is that my background is mostly science (physics and statistics) and I wanted to show that I am serious about landing a job in the financial sector and that I am willing to learn at least the basics. However, I did not put my reasoning in the resume. I just got worried from what you said but do you think there is a possibility that some employers get this message (seriousness and willingness) from adding it to the resume or most likely it will be taken as "why did you add this unneccessary information?!". I guess I am looking for assurances. P.s. I am from the middle east and I have been struggling to find a job in the financial sector.
