I agree with notes taking, is a huge improvement. Another advice, is craving to pass that CFA exam. Dont just look at it as studying like in school, but actually improving your skills and craving to improve your skills and your thinking. I believe this really shows you your dedication and passion for finance, if you always crave to become better. It will also give you a winner mentality against those L2 derivative sections xoxo :)

AJ, Thank you so much! Your content is so inspiring 🤩 I started to prepare for CFA level 1 exam after taking my master in finance (bachelor is in different fields), but I feel that finance is special for me! So, I need to study a lot, your advice about schedule, structure, phone away, “second” job is very-very helpful and inspiring 🤩

I don’t agree with keeping a limited time for study each day. Rather we need to keep a target for a particular content for each day. No matter what happens it is absolutely important to finish up that part of the curriculum. It might be 1 hour or 5 hours. That would motivate to learn and complete the syllabus with more curiosity and passion. This process wouldn’t need external motivation whatsoever. Pure internal drive

I definitely wanted to tell as little people as possible that I took CFA Level 1. Just sat for it in August, felt okay, but I’m not 100% confident I passed. I just don’t want to fail, and have people tell me “Oh that’s fine, you can just take it again, you have time”. Studying for the exam while working full time has been frustrating, and I don’t think people understand the dedication you have to put in.

I love your CFA content. But your smart you’re a CFA, talk about finance, economics, money etc. I think that’ll help grow your channel & also make you more money. You have an “I can trust you” energy. Use it.

Hi @straighttalks-ajsrmek323, thanks for sharing your experience. I have finished my readings for CFA L1 and will going to start my revision. I still have 2 months for that. I am bit confused, what would be an appropiate strategy to start my revision. I am thinking to do a practice problems and if i will find some difficulty to solve certain practice problem then I will quickly go through with reading on that particular topic?
