hi! amazing video. i love these, but my vibe and home are not at all modern. without being some master carpenter, how could i adjust this to look more vintage? i was thinking adding trim, maybe using premade legs, and different knob any other suggestions? thanks!

Thank you very much! Adding trim and the knob would be the easiest without having to make any adjustments to the build plans. Adding legs would be a neat option but may be harder to find and could get pricey because the home improvement stores usually have more plain options.

Can you use a gray gel stain over a walnut gel stain and achieve something similar?

That's a good question but I have not used gel stains so I am not sure. It would definitely be worth testing out!

It is a Rustoleum Home (rstyle.me/+dr2E--HLyVHuc-nLh526OQ) paint that is in between a regular wall latex paint and an epoxy.

That's a good point, but it generally doesn't have an odor issue. If there is something that has an odor I just change out the bags!

That Honey Maple really could have used a half and half board as it's impossible to tell what the stain is doing in the results without a comparison. Just looks like bare wood.

@ I ended up using Golden Oak which is similar bus gives the wood a slight oiled look or slightly more amber than natural
