House I was in about 2017,the whole upstairs was trashed main bedroom opened to the sky,big ol possum lair in the back room ,hole in the floor you had to jump over and then the girls bedroom, almost pristine.stereo in corner, clothes in closets, bed unmade.almost like they were coming back at any moment.

Some of my earliest memories are inside this mall. I remember the Talking Tree in Lazarus. I remember the restaurant in Lazarus too. In the early 80s when I was a kid. My aunt used to waitress there. You had to go up an elevator to it, and it overlooked the mall, it was like a bridge over the mall. They probably tore that down years ago, I'm not sure. But what wonderful memories they are. *Edit - I knew immediately they were in the old Lazarus store, wow! So many memories of my childhood unlocked. I guess they didn't tear it down. Thank you guys for exploring this!

I remember shopping in that Macy's in 2005, bought stuff as well. I also still have some photo booth photos from inside that mall. Wild to see it so far gone, especially where Macy's was.

We went there in 2015, the bowl slide had insane airtime and was super fast. It’s sad when new ownership took over they ran it into the ground.

I'm pretty sure that the modernized window was from when in the early 2000's they wanted to turn the building into a jail. The people that lived near the building revolted and vadilized the exterior of the building until the city changed its mind.

It's a nice school building. Big also. Be careful with flooded basements, the water can give nasty diseases that could cost your life. (Amoeba disease) I like your video and thanks for sharing this one 😊

I worked in this mall in the early 2010’s when it wasn’t known to be “nice” but it was still a busy mall. Wild to see it like this. And seeing pieces of the mall I never knew existed that were right under my feet when I was there.

MAN I miss City Center. Moved to Ohio mid 90s so I don’t have the personal ties to any of the “lands” but City Center was the best especially at the holidays. As for westland, man I can’t believe no one warned Sheetz about that horrid area which has improved little since the casino. We do love York Steakhouse and glad it’s being saved.

I was a squatter in London for 15 years .I was also involved in the underground Techno scene there ,so we used to enter a lot of abandoned places .I used to be very alert when I went into a place ,but I had mates who used to wander around like it was Xmas or something ...I used to check every room and look into any cupboard etc etc ...they called me paranoid ..until one day some guys went into a place in South London and there was a guy hiding in the attic and a sword left in a room .rest of the place was completely bare apart from the sword ,which they took with them on their way out ...fast ...bizarre though ..the guy slammed the trap door to the attic as they were on the stairs ..they saw him looking at them ...I always told people sooner or later we will come across someone hiding in an empty place ...

It's not the mall that's a nuisance... They've killed off Northland and they're going after Easton, too. Cowtown has become little Atlanta.

I think the big room with the escalators is where the Sears used to be. It closed in 2011 I believe. If it’s not the Sears then it was the JCPenney’s which closed before the Sears if I’m remembering right. Grew up going to that mall, used to get my picture taken with Santa there. Sad to see it like this but it was a long time coming, once the Sears closed there wasn’t much to go for and a lot of crime in the area.

I moved to Columbus in 2010 but grew up in a small town about an hour South. My mom and I would always go back-to-school shopping at Eastland since we didn't have a mall at home. Occasionally I pass Eastland while driving to visit my parents and feel sad that it's in such disrepair. It simply couldn't compete with the newer malls, especially Easton, and the increasing crime closed it for good. This was cool to see! Thanks for the video

Who cares ? These people vote democratic every election cycle . Urban Renewal has been promised for 60 years, guess what? It ain’t happenin. But, there’s another election coming up, so the democrats will be around to tell you who to vote for, which just happens to be the same people that have been screwing you over. So just do as they ordered you to do, and you’ll see them again in the next election cycle.
