What was the problem have same problem

Very good video! Some alternators has voltage regulator with resistor but some without resistor. I would like to know what will happen instead of regulator with resistor install regulator without resistor.

I bought mine at Walmart but it kinda feels and seems fake it don’t got all the green but it don’t got all the red so I’m ehh especially since the edges are ruff

They are much better riding mowers than what we buy today at Walmart or Lowes. The new riding mowers that people buy today at Walmart are definitely not made as good as the ones back in the 80s. Ethanol content in gas is something you have to watch out for especially for a 35-year-old old lawnmower.

It's either this or you buy a new hub $300, a new bearing $200, and get them pressed together $200. Then you've gotta take the old one off and put the new one on. If you brought it to a mechanic you're looking at probably $1200... So, you buy an angle grinder for $150, and a vice for $100. Grinding the bolt it a pain in the butt, put it in the vice with 2 lug nuts screwed together so you don't crush the threads.

First you have to apply 12V from a battery. Also if it is not self excited you must apply the same 12V to a low power connector behind or at the side of alternator as mentioned on other comments, then use the same drill to give turn your alternator. While applying power and turn you must observe the voltage of 12V line . It must be increased to 13.5-14V levels.

Another place to look for leaking is where the water comes out if the spout into the washer tub. Check for leaking where the hose connects to this water spout.

Would appreciate any suggestions. 2012 Polaris 800 Razor EFI hesitates at 45-50 mph. 45 is about 6350rpm. Not really a sputter or cough. Repairman just cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors and said idle air circuit was partially open causing a misfire at that speed. None of the work performed solved the issue. One person suggested the primary and secondary cluthes might be fighting each other. Need to get it fixed pretty quick so we can sell it and move, but I want it to be right. I should also mention that it has full power no issues 0-45. No codes, no engine light. Always at that speed only.Thanks, Appreciate anything.

It's a Valeo alternator, 9 times out of 10 it needs just 1 brush or the floating stator cooked and the alternator is junk if you're not a rebuilder

That's not how you test an alternator, you're supposed to provide a 12v to the coils to energize it 🤣

i think its the aftermarket suspension in this model if the ecm does not have the air ride height from the air suspension then it limits to 80 for 'safety' 😉 so if you only replaced the suspension you still have the electronics which dont receive the correct information from ride height sensor and will not let you go past 80 i think there are youtube videos on this fix for people who installed their own suspensions and you should look for these. This is my guess to fix. scan the car with a scanner and get the fault codes from the air suspension module then troubleshoot and repair what is going wrong. but its better to see if anyone online is more informed and has actual instructions, not vague ideas. I hate electrics in cars man i feel you... best of luck from the UK to fix this issue! Ive only seen one cadillac in my life, they are rare here!
