Hal this is an incredible video!! I love reading on an ereader too love being able to organize the books I want to read or audiobooks I want to listen to into lists so it’s a seemingly never ending to be read list (TBR) that I’m constantly conquering and constantly adding to consistently lol

If you have a free little library over by your place, you should put the books that you are unhauling in there! that is what I have done for some of the books that I have gotten rid of. Either that or I have given them to someone that I know would enjoy them!

alright bestie here we gooo: Best Book: The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah (made me sob it was so good and beautifully written) Best Sequel: A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas (I haven't read any duologies this year so this will have to do lmao. I freaking LOOOOVED ACOSF so so so so so so much I love Nesta and Cassian sm its unreal) New Release I Haven't Read Yet: Love Unwritten by Lauren Asher :) (so excited for this one) Most Anticipated: UHHH RECKLESS. by Lauren Roberts DUHHHH Biggest Surprise: The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (this one disappointed me because of how hyped up it was. Gave it 3 stars but was expecting a 4 star.) The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni (this one surprised me because of how in depth the plot was. Was almost a 4 stars for me and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I thought it was going to be just another bland 3 star book for me lmao.) Newest Fictional Crush: CASSIANNNNNNNNN OH BOY I NEED HIM A Book That Made Me Cry: Going to have to go with The Nightingale again on this one. Not a lot of books make me cry but I was sobbing over my pages for this one. A Book That Made Me Happy: Funny Story by Emily Henry (my first emily henry read and it lived up to my expectations. I was giggling and kicking my feet it was so cute.) Most Beautiful Book: I bought a special edition of Little Women this year and it looks so cute on my shelf I love it. Books I NEED To Read by EOY: Sarah J Maas CC series, finish Chestnut Springs Series, finish my re read of Percy Jackson.

Just a friendly reminder that I still consider myself a new reader and I love taking recommendations from other book creators because ultimately I want to read books i think I’ll love and enjoy and hearing others talk about them makes me want to read them for myself! (: and then when I do find some that I love I want to talk about them and share my feelings just incase maybe some of you haven’t heard about them yet! There are still so many popular books that a lot of other people have already read that I haven’t yet and still want to and I’m sure along the way I’ll find random books that no one has talked about yet that I love as well!! But at the end of the day my goal is just to find books I love and enjoy weather they are super popular books or books no one has ever heard of before (:

alright *cracks knuckles* - best book you've read so far this year? Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas and Annie Bot by Sierra Greer (two very different books ik 😭). HoF because two of my favorite characters are introduced and there is soooooo much plot development in that book and Annie Bot because it was. It was just a lot. I read it in less than a day. You just have to read it to understand! - best sequel you've read so far this year? Blade Breaker by Victoria Aveyard. The sheer audacity of that cliffhanger was RIDICULOUS I am so glad I had the third and final book in that series or I would've cried :') - new release you haven't read yet, but want to? Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth! It's my book of the month from months ago but I just haven't been in the mood for thrillers lately :/ I blame TOG - most anticipated release for the second half of the year? This sounds awful but there aren't really any that stick out 😭 There's not any new books that I've heard of coming out this year that I've been super pumped about - biggest surprise: Bad and Good? Bad: The Fox Wife Yangsze Choo :/ idk I thought I was going to be reading a different story than what I got so it just did not hit for me. Still a solid book though! Good: ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. The amount of hype this book and series has made me VERY nervous that I wasn't going to enjoy it (even though I loved TOG) and I was very relieved that I loved the "slower" first book! About 40% through ACOMF and I'm enjoying it very much still! - favorite new author? (debut or new to you) Sarah J. Maas. I read the entire TOG series in like. A month and a half. I'm in the middle of ACOTAR and I plan on reading CC either later this year or next year. She. Has. Me. Hooked. - newest fictional crush? The Cadre in the TOG series (specifically Fenrys my LOVE ugh) - a book that made you cry? Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I have no words to describe the pain that book gave me. - a book that made you happy? Love Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood! Seeing the cover itself on my bookshelf makes me giddy ughhhh - most beautiful book you've bought (or received) so far this year? Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll 🤌🏻 - what books do you need to read by the end of the year? The rest of ACOTAR (duh), Babel by R.F. Kuang, The Secret History by Donna Tartt, and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (and my entire physical TBR cart in general but those are the BIG ones i wanna get to </3) (if you got this far down, im glad to see you doing better haley! i hope you enjoy TOG as much as i did and sorry for giving you an essay in your comment section 😭)

You just talked me into ordering Done & Dusted. As someone else with adhd, the excerpt you read was me in a nutshell. I have to mention the book that surprised me that I read. Stone Blind - omg it changed my world. It's outside of your usual, but if it at all appeals to you, please read it. I feel it is important for women.

You HAVE to make a reading vlog for Throne of Glass!!!! Omg! Trust me, once you get through the first book you’ll be hooked like the ACOTAR series! I like TOG slightly more than ACOTAR and I LOVED both so that’s saying something.

I was definitely more into acotar from the start. Throne of Glass was a slow start for me. I felt like I was dragging through ToG (1) and Crown of Midnight (2), but things are starting to pick up for me finally while reading Heir of Fire (3). But I know people are super obsessed with the series by the end of it, so I'm ready to get to that level of obsession lol

@@samarycastro that makes sense. Acotar was my first, and it was the series that got me back into reading as an adult, so it’s got a special place for me. But it does seem like whichever SJM series people read first is the one that ends up being their favorite

YESSS!!! I LOVE IRON FLAME!!!! 🧡🧡🧡🔥🔥 Its definitely become my top favorite book of this year too!!! 😆🙌 I'm dying for Onyx Storm! I have reread both books in this series like 3 times now and took down so many notes on some clues and theories I have for the next book! In the mean time I have grown to love her writing so I'm reading her other books by her until it's out! I cant wait for you to read the Throne of Glass series! It's the BEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
