I read Assassin's Blade first, and I'm glad that I did for the reasons you listed. Plus I just really prefer for things to go chronologically. And I didn't want the plot to be spoiled for me by reading Throne of Glass before AB. I'm on Kingdom of Ash now. I was also afraid of the tandem read, but I surprisingly enjoyed it a lot. I do feel like switching up the storylines helped keep my focus better. I did use the audiobooks to help me at that point, so perhaps that might've made me enjoy it more than if I was just reading it.

Omg I know it’s so hard to find that version, I looked everywhere and it’s being sold for kind of a lot on like eBay and stuff but I honestly got SO lucky and found it close to the original price on pango books!! If you don’t want to pay a ton I’d just say keep looking and a lot of times you can get lucky and find someone selling it for a good price!

If you want a good fantasy trilogy I would read the Liars crown by Abigail Owen. It’s a paranormal New Adult Romantasy that I think you’d really like!

Can you explain what you are expecting from the Harry Potter books ? You look disappointed that they are like the movies but… isn’t that the point ? And you loved the movies so I’m surprised that you rate a book that the movie depicted well lower than a book where the movie wasn’t as good
