Damn Chad!! I totally understand where you are coming from regarding providing value with video releases and velocity. But I beg to differ. You provide value…….quality over quantity. But I get it brother!! Keeping it real as usual. You are the GOAT!!!

If your upcoming trips are in cities with better IHG hotels than other brands, you can try the IHG InterContinental Ambassador program, USD$200.00 or 40,000 IHG points to get platinum status at all IHG hotels, plus special offers at all InterContinental hotels around the Globe.

Checked bag fees DO NOT count for triggering the $200 credit. They’re coded as tickets. I just had Amex tell me to get fucked on my checked bag fee with Alaska Airlines this past week. In fact, NOTHING triggers this bullshit made up credit. It’s all a lie. I’ve paid for checked bags, seat upgrades and meals on Alaska Airlines with my Amex Platinum card and NOT ONE SINGLE TIME has this incidental credit been applied. NEVER. It’s just a scam.
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes10 күн бұрын
And you did choose Alaska as your airline for the credit to apply to in your account right? Enrollment is required this credit is not automatic

I have an over 800 credit score. I have 12 cards, and I have literally never done anything to get that score to where it is other than not defaulting or making late payments. Is it good to have? Maybe, but I have never been turned down for anything, even when the score was 650.

Credit score has been right around 790 always, it has never stopped me from getting anything and I get all kinds of stuff from new loans, cards, refinancing loans, etc... So agreed the 800 score stuff is crap. Also agree that there is a ton of BS out there in regards to personal finance and thus I am not subscribed to them on KZbin

I’m glad someone finally spoke up about Amex acceptance. For the way that 90% of people travel it’s literally not a concern in the slightest. When we went to Paris we were 17/17 in acceptance. Morocco it was a different story but to your point it’s a different industry level but equally as beautiful.

Can you redeem Skymiles to pay for the remaining balance of the flights after using the companion certificate excluding the taxes ?
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes15 күн бұрын
Yes that shouldn't be an issue. Also remember that if you can use skymiles to activate the companion fare as well as long as you have enough skymiles for the initial flight. I hope that helps

Quick question I have one card I’m thinking about adding my daughter my credit ranges from 672-697 would she adopt my credit profile or my credit card history on that card . I know it sounds dumb I just want to make sure
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes19 күн бұрын
@@ghisellesimon162 not dumb at all, what would happen is that her credit would start to build and then be effected proportionally by your behavior, so say for instance you add her to an account and never miss a payment for two years keep the utilization under 10% and so on, then her credit at her age of majority would rival if not outpace yours, she would be missing some credit mix, and new accounts but she would still be in a great spot.

I was there in May for the F1 weekend, used a FNC and 285k points for 4 nights in a junior suite that would have been $800+ a night with resort fees, taxes etc all in. I was Gold status at the time from the AmEx Hilton biz and they upgraded me at check-in to a poolside suite that would have run at least $1500-$2000 a night for that weekend. Made me look like a total stud in front of the whole family. Trip was so good I opened an Aspire to run it back this year. Booked 5 nights with 380k points and the 6th with a FNC. 1.1cpp + $820 from the Aspire FNC. $300 in food and beverage credits from status, $400 in incidentals from the Aspire resort credit double dip. Should be a pretty good time. If you count the CLEAR credit, my Aspire will be something like -$1100 EAF this year on this trip alone, without counting the food and beverage credits :D
