Tfs Chad. Great breakdown. One advantage of AMEX Delta Reserve: you can get into the SkyClubs at BOTH ends of your trip. Case in point: left DFW earlier today incl a quick SkyClub visit where I had lunch. Landed in NYC, went to SkyClub here, and had dinner and drinks. AMEX Centurion Lounges will only let you in at point of departure.
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes4 ай бұрын
you are 1,000,000% correct on that one, the entry on arrival sets skyclubs apart from a great many lounge networks. I too have been known to splash some cool water on my face and get a hot cup of tea to go on an early morning arrival.

I used to be that person. Now I actually plan an earlier arrival so I have at least 30-90 minutes in the Delta SkyClub or AMEX Centurion Lounges. Food, beverages, bathrooms and recharging stations in a less flustered environment. #Happy place

Fantastic information Chad. I was trying to confirm that I could get into the DFW Capital One lounge using my Amex Platinum under the Plaza Premium banner, but I'm not finding anything. Do you know where the details might be?
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes4 ай бұрын
When I went I simply asked as the lounge is in their network. I didn't find anyone talking about it either after I went but I did film the interaction on my live feed. In the featured video inside this one just go to around minute 54 and you can see it.

Man there was a line for the Cap1 lounge when i was at DFW so I went to another lounge, courtesy of the Amex Platinum. The Priority Pass lounge in St Lucia is the worst lounge ive visited by far hahaha Keep dropping 💎 💎. Glad to see you back
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes4 ай бұрын
I thank you bro! How bad was that lounge? I want to check out more international priority pass lounges since my experience was so nice in Rome.
@SledgeIncTeam4 ай бұрын
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes Bro, I've heard great things about internationally PP lounges. But bro, the one in St Lucia only had a choice of tuna salad sandwich or chicken salad sandwich. The drink was poured from a 20oz Coke or Sprite bottle and you only got 1/2 of the bottle 😭.... Then one of the TVs on the wall was sideways and barely hanging 😂😂 But... on the flip side, there were thousands of people outside of the lounge. The plane that we flew back, loaded in the front and the back.... it was huge!

lol, I just had this convo with P2; getting a CC for lounge access for 1-2 flights a year or trying to gain a certain status is a bit ridiculous, but yes, getting a card because there is a blank lounge is not a good reason to get that type of cc. what if you dont fly that airline? nice details
@OfficialChadsMoneyMinutes4 ай бұрын
That is a smart perspective, I don't care what people say they "want" to do the ability to get things done is often very different. I would say that even if someone really wants to live lounge life then the Amex green card or the priority pass membership would be the best bets in most cases regardless of what youtubers might advertise.

Hands down the CSR, that chase lounge is niiiiiiiiiiiiice!! As far as MIA is concerned they have a really nice Delta Skyclub but they also are an AA hub so you can really mix it up at that airport.
