No way I would use my jacks to lift the RV. They are for stabilizing not lifting.

Het Randy, Thanks for the video and doing the "Dirty Work' for us. Wanted to ask if you happen to use the pressure hose extension going in through the toilet side. My understanding is that can really help getting the side walls and floors of the black tank as it sits right beneath your toilet. Just curious? Your thoughts on that?
@ChasingtheDreamRV16 күн бұрын
Great question, I did not because I was afraid of making a mess to be honest. I may try that in the future. I can tell you this thing really has some pressure, I tried turning it on in my hand before I put it in to see how the jets were and It dam near sliced me open. My pressure washer is only 1500 so be careful if you decide to use one it really cleaned it out good to the best of my knowledge. Our odor is definitely gone. If I go thru the top I think I would turn water off to the coach and close the toilet part way to avoid blow back. 👍
@NickKarpen15 күн бұрын
I found that when I stopped using tank treatment that it was way easier to get clear water after a flush. Tank treatments break down the waste and you really don’t want that in your black tank. That’s what your septic system is for. You want everything to remain in suspension in your black tank. It has been two years since we used any treatment in the tank and never had a smell or clogging issue.

Many times, people seem to have RV toilet problems because they are not using ENOUGH WATER and just following other guidelines. Like, "fill in 5g" after emptying it. But, what about after you start using it? One flush for #1 and two flush for #2? If people really think about it comparing to household toilet, it uses bunch water per flush. So, realistically, people should use two flush #1 and three flush #2 if anything. And yes, you will have to dump maybe a day earlier than usual but it'll cause less odor in your RV. THE KEY is to use PLENTY of water and not bunch of chemicals because especially the powder ones will cause MORE harm in your tanks than good. Recommend bunch of water and some calgon(or other water softener detergent) +pinesol and some DAWN. Remember, "keep it simple stupid".
@ChasingtheDreamRV10 күн бұрын
Thanks for your reply. In this video, we specifically recommend using Calgon water softener, Vinegar and Dawn along with the use of Happy Camper. And YES, WATER, WATER, WATER.✌🙌💕

WOW! I thought $29000.00 was too much for a 2000 square foot home with attached 2 car garage in 1992… I have since purchased the neighboring lots on the North and South of me. The North corner lot sold for $7000.00 with a fire damaged 3 bedroom home and the South lot sold for $6000.00 with a Moble Home that cost me and additional amount for a 20 yard dumpster to have the Moble Home disposed of.

We have been looking at these. My reason for looking is we stayed at my father in laws place and put down our jacks. Don’t think anything about how think his asphalt was or was not. It was hot and we noticed a day later our brand new windshield was sliding out of the opening. Turns out without something under the pads, along with the heat, we punched through her dad’s drive. Twisted the bus and broke the brand new windshield. Yikes. Appreciate your video’s Blessings

Great video! Could you have used poly pipe / HDPE to run the water line? Seems like it would be much cheaper. We are hoping to close soon on a property that has about an 1800' run to the water meter.
@ChasingtheDreamRVАй бұрын
Absolutely but it requires a few more hands to roll out I believe 500 ft sections, very heavy… and we needed the larger size do to the length of the run. If you have a couple strong young men then it’s doable.
