I'm on my second Corona I think it looks the best just have not had good luck with the quality enjoy the review man as always

My Corona fell about after a few months, led strip fell out, then the magnets came off, and the thing just got all warped, plus the light is not as nice as the Trilights, Trilights light is most natural one I have seen so far.

Think of it this way: No matter what, it _will_ have to be shipped across oceans. Likely multiple. You're not going to be saving any energy by "buying local" if you have trouble finding it. ... And sadly, it's usually quite a bit less expensive to ship from Europe, even _after_ overseas shipping, exchange rate fees, customs, etc. To add insult to injury, shipping takes about as long from Europe to the western NA as it does from California to other parts of Western NA. I've often wondered: How much faster it would be to get from the UK to the East Coast vs the extra 2,000 miles? Is the wholesale price NA dealers get is the same price we get if we order from Europe?

Definitely like this one. If they can supply spares at a reasonable price then I can justify the initial higher cost.

No problem, it was a little tight on mine but Harrows have patented the concave edge around the ring which makes it easier to squeeze inbetween the board and surround. :)

I looked at some of the promo photos for it where it's used with a surround, it looks like the entire lip sits on top of the surround which I'm not sure I'm a fan of. As you say there's there's several options now, I think I'd only consider this if it were discounted or I needed something now and it was the only product in stop. I just think there's nicer options and around the same money. But, I understand why they're doing it.

it does sit above the edge but I think it looks neater that way, tried it on my own surround and I also think it helped to deaden the sound of the darts hitting a little :)

looks like the solar flare from Unicorn, those light surrounds are fine but it does kind of feel like your are throwing through a tube with them

Great review as always Darren. When i saw this released I thought that it looks really good, but just wanted to see what your review of it was like. Not sure i will get one now 😅. What lighting system do you think is the best on the market at the moment? 👍🏼🎯

Thanks! As mentioned in video this appeals to me because the light is more natural looking than any of the others, video does not do it justice really. I have kept this one up on my board in the loft area, took the torus down and I gave the Cuesoul one to a charity raflle. I have not tried the Winmau ones though. I still have my One80 Illumina too. So for me I would say any of those are great, but think I will say the Trilight because it just feels better on the eyes.

Which lighting system would you recommend when you need to change the board regularly. Our team have a match board that we swap with the normal pub board every week, but the 120 degree light is falling apart now as the magnets are all coming off.

Well I used to take the Corona on and off regularly and that fell apart, the Harrow's tri light is getting the same treatment so far but I think that will last better due to the design.

@DartsReviewChannel Thanks Darren, I might suggest we get one. I was wondering about the lumina from one80 you reviewed a while back as it looked like you lifted the board off dead easy, but do you need some thicker wedges with that one.

@@tonyatkinson3042 The One80 Ilumina is good but you have to screw it into the wall behind the board, if you are happy doing that then its worth getting :)

Looks good! However, does it support having a dartboard surround ? Also, my concern is if one out of the 3 light gor busted or burned, how would I replace it ? In a full 360 corona or the like you just buy a new LED strip to replace it.

I think so far the only one that exceeds the Target Corona is the Cuesoul D8! Too bad it's not available anywhere!! If you still have it, would you sell it for a reasonable price ?:)

Nah Corona has been over rated, which is usual for Targets stuff. My fell apart after 3 months, its ok if you never have to move the ring but as a reviewer I did often, and it did not hold up to that. Also the Trilights light is a much better more natural light and still gives great coverage for just 3 lights! Cuesoul D8 is decent but as you say hard to get hold of. I just gave mine away to a charity raffle event though.

Just bought myself 2 Target Arc cabinet lights, which will get reverse mounted for a cleaner look. Not a fan of those full or 270 rings as i don't like having stuff on the bottom half of the board. This one would be cool if you could choose where to place the 3 lights yourself, but seems they wanted static positions. Also seems far too flimsy for my tastes. I can't stand when things wobble or shake. Thanks for showing us though!.

Well you can just rotate the ring so the lights are positioned where you want them. Target Arc is a very poor light in comparison to the Trilights. Its a much more natural looking light, video probably does not do it justice as I mentioned its always difficult to match what the eye sees on a camera. Its no more flimsy than any other light on the market except maybe the metal Torus. It probably looked more flimsy as I did not have my board stablized as mentioned in video. With the board stable the light is perfectly steady.

No issues whatsoever, including it being clattered a fair few times by friends hitting it with stray darts etc. The only benefit I can see with this, is if it's used for junior or midget games! Don't like the lip, the gap at the bottom of the ring, and I've already seen reports that it doesn't fit with koto surrounds. So it's not nonsense to have an opinion is it?

@@ArnieInTheSky85 its not nonsense to have an opinion but its nonsense to outright make a statement that one thing is better than another if you have not tried both, you are just judging it by looks, when you have tried both or got a chance to experience it close up and still say its worse then thats a different matter. I know the light on the Trilight is better visually than the Corona, its more natural. I have still to have it long term to test it fully but straight away I can tell that even if the magnets fall out like they did on my Corona the Trilight will still attached to the board by virtue of its ring that hangs over the board and squeezes onto it. The led strip fall out of my Corona, fair enough I could glue it back in, but it should have lasted longer than 3 months. Granted it remains to be seen if the Trilight led strips do the same thing but I have already tried tugging at the ends of them with my finger nail and its in solid. My surround is a tight fit but I still got the Trilight on ok. For me though the light from just the 3 LEDS is a much better and easier on the eyes more natural light than the Coronas.
