Find any pipe of 2.5" diametar (or same as stove pipes), cut it under the angle of the tent (app 45 degrees) and transfer the ellipse opening to the metal, cut an ellipse opening (not circle). That`ll do. 🙂

Gstove is small and heavy. Built like a tank. Will last forever. Beautiful. Efficient. Long burn time.

You need a bigger woodstove. Little pieces of wood burn up quickly.

This test, made four years ago, has become irrelevant due to the global climate warming change. It no longer snows. We need a flip flop and swim fins test now.

If my ancestors were as tall as my family (around 6 ft) the longer ojibwe shoes would be preferable with them having a long stride

Just moved to the Selawik Valley from the southern US. It’s been a massive adjustment! I lived in Europe for a decade and never saw snow like this. And they say this year has been mild! Guess I need some snowshoes. I get a little panicky when I sink to my knees! Thanks for the video!

Should maybe think about training the dog to pull your wood uphill, and also, maybe think about building your new accommodation underground. Less wood. Also, look at homebiogas, for sewage/gas, or any other company that sells the same.

You removed the potato from that canvas bag like it was the Hope Diamond...lol. Good to see you're alive, man. I thought maybe a BC samsquatch got the best of you. Or more likely, a chupacabra..I hear they're on the rebound since c19. Sadly it's taken me this long to recognize you're return to YT. I used to pop by once in awhile, but gave up about a year after you sold RLO. Then c19 and the rest is a wash. But what I really want to say is, I'm super happy for you and that you kept the title of Olive L Outpost and Claire wasn't able to shove you out! Good for you, Harlan. What a dream spot. WCPP is easy living (not referring to the sweat equity and build of the outpost) Pick a spot on any shoreline and you're lighting a fire within minutes, and eating walleye shortly after that. My profile photo is me holding a plate of fresh walleye caught on Glenn Lake. F*ck I miss that place so much. If I ever return, which I hope to, I'll definitely look you up and see if you're kicking it in there. We'll get together for a fish fry and sit around the campfire telling old war stories. Merry Christmas, Harlan.

I ordered Gstove including 17 items April 28 2020. Order No: 100 3089. Receipt No; 5174-2548-3554-0073. I received 1st shipping 8 items April 2021. But Gstove does not make shipment until now. I do not receive 9 items. Gstove doesn't keep the promise. Gstove is bad company. 😂

Oh, and this demonstration gives one just a slight glimpse of why those trapped with Donner family during the infamous California winter of 1845-46 couldn't just easily walk out of their snowbound situation - as they didn't have proper snowshoes or gear and the snow was FAR deeper than in this video. Great demonstration!

To help fit that stove ,just get a silicon stove jack and attach it to your existing stove jack and cut to size easy and water tight
