LURE OF THE WILDERNESS | A Winter In Canada's North

The wild frontier of Canada's north in the depths of Winter. Sometimes an unforgiving landscape, and yet, there's something strikingly beautiful, if not romantic about living on the land in isolation.
It has been a remarkable winter, a brutally cold one, but I have no regrets. 31 nights out in the forest with my pup, countless campfires, hearty food, deep snow and a lot of calories burned! I will remember the winter of 2018/2019 well.
This video is for those of you that dream of unspoiled wilderness, of living free and traveling at your own pace. It is still possible.....

Great video of clips from your winter journey. Really like the ending with you and your dog at nightfall with your tent and light glow from your stove in the tent. Very peaceful scene to end your winter excursions.

Very well done Harlan!! You actually do bring out the beauty and the romanticism of the Boreal. Oh , I bet she could be a witch, but the way you captured her , she’s definitely a queen.
