nice review . meze 105 or Hadenys for first open back experience :)

Does it sound mostly like a Arya Stealth / or Arya Organic? How is it different from the 1000 SE?
@EvanMann7Сағат бұрын
Having owned a pair of 325x the best experience was returning them. Came in a pizza box, the cheap plastic brackets, and the cable was like getting chocked by an anaconda. The noise bleeding was like having a cheap radio turned on full blast .

So refined and laid back? Does this mean not very dynamic then? How are the dynamics compared to the other Aryas?

Imagine paying 7k for headphones and having to deal with removing grill covers every time you listen. Hifi-man truly is pushing the boundaries of Audio technology... by doing a grill mod 😂

Well.. it’s not mean you have to remove the grill covers every song..I just extra care. What is wrong with it?

Dali is really good at marketing. No App is a plus according to them (nobody needs firmware updates and precise EQ tweaks), weak ANC is termed 'audiophile ANC' and 35 hours of playback is with ANC off. I tried them for 40 minutes because I admire their speakers. However, the noise isolation, sound quality and controls were disappointing. Noise isolation is mediocre (ANC made almost no difference); comfort with the round ear cups was average (poor with glasses); the button placement was annoying (not easy to differentiate volume from the huge play/pause/skip button); sound was lacking in texture and clarity (veiled treble with a weird reverb-like quality to the midrange that masked details). The carrying case also felt feeble for the price. It would be an excellent €400 or a decent €500 headphone.

I love that you give a comparative listening test, even though it is not "true" in the real sence, beacuse of the filtering headphone I am using Aune AR5000. Now I know much better what to expect when I can compare them to someting I know. ❤. So, now I understand how (to me) The Nano has more abrubpt sounds and how this influence how musical I may find them. Also in my ears I think original Ananda has more sub base than XS, but I think base on XS goes stretches a little higher up in frequencies compared to original Ananda and they sound overall sweeter/varmer than the Original Ananda. Andanda Original is a little more lively, exciting and energetic than XS and higher frequencies are not so dampened. Compared to Meze 109 Pro I think XS sound likeable but different and Nano sound a little more "perfect/analytical" in how they sound, but Nano does not sound so musical/pleasing. The brighter Nano are my not be my cup of tea, but the XS that sound somewhat darker/veiled but musical, and also the exciting bassy Ananda Original are likeable. I will go for the XS, they sound sweet. The Meze 109 Pros does sound a little "raw" listening to your recordings, but in real life (my own) are very smooth in most musical genres, still not at all as smooth as the Sennheiser HD 660 S2 though. Thanks!

Your video quality is much better! Great job with the white balance! To help with that room noise, try positioning that mic closer to your mouth. Since it's a dynamic mic, it's less sensitive, so you can position it within 3-6 inches, lower the volume, and sound good with less external noise. Keep up the great work.

I never use mine. Something about the sound actually bothers me. On at least one album it wasn't a problem, but it's hard to discover them if you don't listen in the first place.

I'm a TRN BT30 user, as far as I know FIIO UTWS5 (original and revised version) uses similar construction which is micro dual micro amp for each ear unit. This amp makes the IEMs sound good but not as good as wired, around 5% - 10% drop in sound quality in all aspects. But this is far better than the lower adapters such as FIIO UTWS3 or TRN BT20S (KZ doesn't count coz they simply lowest in sound quality, KZ truly needs yo upgrade rheir adapters). ifi Go Pod would be at par with FIIO UTWS5 2025 which employed Dual CS43131 DAP chips. But honestly, for the price, you are right. Better invest on better IEMs or simply get FIIO BTR15 or Shanling UP5 or ifi Go Blue for far superior sound quality. Why get a Bluetooth TWS adapter? Coz I use both FIIO BTR3K and TRN BT30, the convenience of BT30 makes it my go to travel sound gadget. Only when I know I will spend some times sitting down, I can bring FIIO BTE3K setup.

Yo Everyone in the Audio Community. I discovered a fatal flaw in the Pi8's. Mine were brand new yesterday from John Lewis cost £349.99 and I maxed out the EQ and Volume with Noise Cancelling ON and played this track kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHvbhaBpbJeao7Msi=r6q1Zrn0X3cKr1m9 by Mark Spence 2 The Floor. On boths Earbuds ran loud, nasty crackling distortion where the drivers could not handle it or clashed with the Noise Cancelling. I urge you to test this for yourself. You may want to return them fast.
