Worth going to Apenzell if your close by. Good brewery in the bottom of town

I love Switzerland and have been lucky enough to stay in the Bernese Oberland several times. My bedroom window view was those mountains that you were looking at. Love Lauterbrunnan and Murren. Wengen is another lovely village. The hiking trails are fantastic. Look forward to seeing where else you get to. Think I've an idea what Tom has in mind for the next adventure and it is definitely worth it 🙂

Have climbed on that cliff in Lauterbrunen, and you missed an amazing alpine bar in Murren and the beers are on a par with London prices. Amazing place

If you do Jungfrau take first train recommended

Go up Jungfrau, expensive, but experience of a lifetime. Train takes you through the Eiger, train stops at the window in the North face of the Eiger, film Eiger sanction.

Goto the top 007 revolving restaurant Shilthorn or on James Bond Piz Gloria. When I went up the cable car I was on the first of the day with the fresh bread, the smell mmmm
