It's been so hard to find resources specifically for our industry. My husband started a gutter company 5yrs ago and he still works 7days a week. Our goal is to have this company NOT always needing him on the work truck. Ty for this podcast. It was very informative.

Higher quality questions from a sales guy doesn't provide higher quality services. Leaffilter has a reputation in the industry as selling high to elderly and the system doesn't work. Integrity in your product.

Great episode. I've got a small gutter business here in Cleveland. Even here I think there's enough pie to go around. Quick question - I started primarily cleaning and quickly expanded into subbing out installs, similar to Kyle. I have read and been told one of the rules to classifying subs correctly is they must not perform work which serves as the primary revenue for your company. Or possibly even something that is a significant frequent source of revenue for it. Rather, subs are supposed to be for things in our cases completely separate from gutters. How did you get around that part of it? The COI and article of indemnification I'm good with, I just don't want that part to burn me. Do you instead register your S-corp as a lead gen company and then have DBAs to advertise as a gutter company? This info is incredibly useful, thank you both!
