The basic premise of this instalment is so nice and well-found: put a Predator with a group of people that are in some ways reminicient of the soldiers in part 1, but in a completely different time period and part of the world. You can variate infinitely with this.

i just love that this scene shows that even though stingray was viewed as just some overweight weak loser by most of cobra kai that he actually DID pay attention during lessons and DID learn from them, it wasnt that he didnt have the training or knowledge of karate to be able to fight, it was only his mindset that stopped him from being a badass. once he overcame that he showed his true abilites. this scene while just a short scene meant to be half humor, also kindof speaks too the idea of balance that the karate kid films have always pushed. that being strong in mind but not body, is bad, but also being strong in body but not in mind is equally bad. and i love this.

They dropped the ball severely in the third act with that out of place montage. They should have focused more on the idea that Shuri was going down the wrong lath instead of detting up the climax like it's some generic badguy vs goodguy fight. Would have been better to focus more on Namor's turnoil after his attack on Wakanda.
