I wouldn't say she had a drinking problem either, she was more just someone who drank with friends. Now, a protagonist with a drinking problem can be a good story - Tony Stark in the comics. (in the movies they changed it to PTSD), also, Tony was always drinking in Iron Man 1, even when he was working, and Iron Man 2. Drinking isn't the problem. That can be an effective part of the story. The problem is that Jen is cheerful. She's kind of a party-girl-lawyer. It was meant to be a kind of Ali McBeal kind of show, so that might be what they were going for, but it didn't land. Calista Flockhart, as Ali, had just enough crazy and enough day dreaming and enough heartbreak and vulnerability to make the party-girl-lawyer thing work. She was easy to root for because she wasn't strong. Jen lacked that complexity. And I don't know if Ali drank, I didn't watch the show regularly, just bits, but I thought it was a good show for the time. I think She Hulk was a bad series. Not Disney's worst, but not good. But I don't Jen was an alcoholic in the series. Oh, and, She Hulk can't get drunk in the comics? I didn't know that. Haven't read enough of them. I don't mind the change from "can't" to "it's hard to get drunk" - that's fine with me. Too long?

Why is the CGI is so bad? It looks very ugly through the scene, but the part where she closes and opens her eyes ane becomes she Hulk with a silly smile looks the ugliest. CGI there is so out of place, like someone copy and pasted a photo to somewhere else and forgot to edit it.

I do like the subtle detail of her instantly sobering up as she changes, healing factor in effect. Plus seeing how she is slightly staggered but not really phased by the hits only to take Titania down in one punch was pretty cool, makes me wonder how that would have gone down with the regular hulk, he'd probably have given her the Loki treatment and broken many of her bones.

It's electric!!! Say what you will but I for one have enjoyed she-hulk as a fun 30 minute show. The dialog is intelligent and jokes go over some simple people sometimes.
