The reason Abby wanted to talk to Sam in this episode is because she didn't take Sam's judgement personally. She just didn't want Sam to get the wrong idea about her. Like in season 10, Abby didn't want Sam to get the wrong idea about Luka. So she stood up for him and told Sam that he's a good man. That's true, Abby never judged Sam. Although, with her choices, track record, and history Abby could've judged her. Especially, the part about being a teen mom. Because that's no better than being a recovering alcoholic; no hate on Abby of course I'm just saying. Unless you were raped or you're a victim of incest. Who gets knocked up at 15 by a 23 year old guy? Also, at least Abby's not easy, a ho, skank, slut, and whore. Sam was all of those things. She always jumped into sex right away. She just slept with any guy she wanted, when she wanted to do it; especially with Tony. Abby had more self respect and the first time she dated Luka she made him work for it. Sam was never aware of her flaws, problems, and whenever she was wrong. That's exactly my point. With Sam's life & track record, she had absolutely no right to judge Abby or anyone else. I’m with you on this. Sam was a judgmental bitch. Abby has been nothing but respectful to her coworkers and to boot when Sam told Abby she got knocked up at 15, Abby showed absolutely no judgment despite the fact that being a teen mom is NOTHING to be proud of. I don’t care if Abby and Sam didn’t truly know each other. Abby always showed a neutral kind non judgmental attitude towards her coworkers and Sam had the gall to be a bitch like that ? Nah. Abby isn’t perfect and she owns up to things when she knows she’s in the wrong and also when she didn’t do anything wrong (because she’s too hard on herself) Abby did not deserve that kind of treatment from Sam. Abby’s childhood via Maggie is why and how she became an alcoholic. So what she relapsed, it happens. It’s a disease and she took control over it. Sam’s inability to not have an open mind told me plenty about her and they weren’t positive. Lol you did ask me.. 😂

You don't know anything about me/my story and what I've been through. Yeah, I'm a recovering alcoholic but at least I'm honest about it. I'm not a deadbeat drunk like the ones that come into the ER. I wouldn't say Abby's too good. She got feisty sometimes. For example, she confronted Richard about not paying her tuition and she popped his tires after she went with John to that gala event. That's true. Right, Abby's a recovering alcoholic but she always made the effort to stay sober. Because she didn't want to be a drunk and she wouldn't let her addiction ruin her life. Luka loved Abby because she's beautiful, smart, funny, strong, unselfish, loyal, and a whole lot of other good things. Damn right Abby's strong as hell. She fell off the wagon a few times, but she always got back on stronger and better than ever. Now that you mention it. Sometimes people treated Abby like crap, but she always treated others with respect. You know what they say, be the bigger person or treat others the way you want to be treated. Abby also had some ability not to care what other people said or thought about her. She really was tough as nails. Well, that's how she felt at the time. I think eventually Abby would've realized that it wasn't her fault. Yep, Abby's kindness, morals, and good qualities blew up in her face sometimes. But her heart was always in the right place and there's nothing wrong with that.

And that right there is how alcoholics go on being alcoholics. She took the first drink, and the next, and the next and the one after that. Not Luka's fault or his responsibility.
