Testament to the acting, when you feel it, when Luka gets up from the table saying "We're not doing this now".

If she didn't even remember we can say Moretti took advantage of her.

EXACTLY!!! a few episodes earlier when an intern hit on her and asked her out she immediately lifted her hand and showed him her wedding ring and said, ‘I’m married.’ She would’ve never cheated on Luka. What Moretti did was rape and I can’t believe the writers ignored that

Kevin had his eye on Abby the moment he met her…He would make the weirdest comments to her like: “I’ll be replacing your husband” and “ You need to get used to working w a Chief you’re not sleeping with” And he would flirt with her knowing she was married. (He was a predator and she was his prey) Tucci is so handsome btw🥵😍

What Abby did to Luka was awful. She treated him shamefully and is very lucky he forgives her to get her happy ending
@scanlon12014 жыл бұрын
Yup but he was right but then again carter also knew abby had drinking problem before after she was beaten by a neighbor Brian when she tried to save his battered wife from him so even luka made the step at defending abby by going after the guy that beat her up.

I couldn't even with Abby. She could be fun when she was making wisecracks, and made an excellent nurse and doctor, but she really went out of her way to sabotage her relationships in literally spectacular ways.

moretti played a hand in it because he took advantage of her drunkenness as well, which i believe would count as rape

I think we're supposed to see that Luka CAN be a bastard, especially when he's found something - or someone - he can't fix.
@miaward17923 жыл бұрын
Come on. Luka was pissed because of what Abby did. She betrayed him. Maybe he has the right and good reason to act like a bastard I would act like that too if my boyfriend did that. What she did was was awful she was under the influence there was a blackout that time. I don’t blame Abby but the drinking I do.

I don't think Luka was a bastard here - he was just hurt, angry and heartbroken... 😢 What Abby did to him was awful and she's very lucky that he finally forgave her! (Being drunk is not an excuse, she shouldn't have drunk at all!!!)
@MyCleverHandle3 жыл бұрын
You know, I never saw the original episodes that dealt with Abby's blackout behavior. I've only caught up with the story through these regurgitated, short video clips where the original dialog is drowned out with music. I've never heard Abby's whole confession, never known exactly how she told Luka about the sexual encounter with Moretti. I'm not even sure it was only one encounter; it seems Moretti was bugging her for more while they were at work together. So if my sympathies aren't deep enough for some of you, I'd offer that the writers are the only ones who truly know what was said.

@@MyCleverHandle We never see onscreen what Abby tells Luka. Basically, Abby was raped. She was very obviously extremely drunk. Moretti was not. She wakes up and IMMEDIATELY asks “What happened? How did I get here?” Moretti says “You can’t drive like this (knowing she was drunk)”. when she tries to run and screams at him “What are you DOING? Don’t touch me!” . Not sure now anyone can interpret this as “cheating” instead of rape, but obviously Abby blamed herself and tells Luka that she “participated”. 😡

He should have walked away. It was one of the unrealistic aspects of the show that pious, traditional family man and widower Kovac would ended up with divorced alcoholic train wreck Abby in the first place
@lauraschoenborn35445 жыл бұрын
Alcoholism can happen to anyone. Abby was sober when they got together, but when he was in Croatia taking care of his dad, she cracked under pressure. Also, we don't know that much about Luka's first wife. Abby and Luka were perfect for each other because they both had their share of baggage. Luka lost his first family, and went through a bit of depresion that he coped with by sleeping around, and basically ignoring his job for a while after Carby started seeing each other, and in a way Abby was the only person who would actually talk to him during that period. She didn't know the full story but still his friend, and was always there for him. And Abby had her mom and brother struggle with Bipolar. They had their share of baggage but found a balence between the two to make a really great couple. Which is a stark contrast to Carter and Abby who when her brother resurfaced, Carter wanted her to basically ignore him and be with him after losing his grandmother. They both had baggage but they really could not find a balence.
