I've lost 50 pounds on carnivore since February and feel great. It is the easiest most sustainable dietary protocol that I've ever tried. Over my lifetime I've failed miserably at every other diet. There are literally thousands of testimonies of people who have reduced the symptoms of or cured chronic disease from carnivore as well. I'm 67 and have never been this lean in all of my life. Dr Idz is a lying charlatan who disseminates disinformation. His views on diet are antiquated and total nonsense!.

I was diagnosed with D3 deficiency 2 months ago. The test showed 7.8. Since then, I have been experiencing mood swings, irritability, hair loss, sleep disorders, and unhappiness. My doctor prescribed Vitamin D3 medication, and I have been using it for 2 months. When will all the symptoms completely go away? In other words, how many months will it take?

Great question - it's important to know that there can be other reasons for these symptoms other than Vitamin D deficiency. It might be worth asking for more tests, such as magnesium levels, and thyroid levels. I would also check for possible anemia. It really depends on the person and in this case probably warrants more investigation to rule out other causes. I hope this is helpful and I hope you feel better soon!

I’m 21, and I’m going to go into nursing. The problem about that is my fear of needles. Is there any tips someone could give so I’m not so light headed or nervous around them or giving a shot?

I went through this myself and exposure therapy was what helped me. Once you go through your training, let the instructors know that you are nervous and they can likely help you through it. I'm certain you aren't the only person who has been through this - I was just like you. You can overcome this, you really can.

I have used low dose amitriptyline for fifty years. It seems to prevent frequent awakenings and has analgesic and muscle relaxing effects. The anticholinergic side effects are more pronounced and longer acting in the elderly. I take 5 to 10 mg, about an hour before bedtime. The effects are long lasting so I don’t drive etc. within ten hours of taking it. Usual side effects dry mouth, urinary retention and prolonged drowsiness. I started taking it for depression and PTSD in the seventies, and now besides sleep it helps with my arthritis and neuropathic pain. Sometimes 5 mg. Is enough for me to get a good seven hours sleep without frequent awakening and urinating every hour. The anticholinergic side effects and slow clearing are the limiting factor in its use.

This makes me wonder how infrared could play a part in brain cancer or any kind of cancer. Very interesting. I'm currently getting hyperthermia treatments,..now I'm wondering how to effectively apply this,...where a cap or surround myself with infrared lights. 🤔

Can you get infrared light through a window?
@FriendlyPharmacy5
@FriendlyPharmacy5 Күн бұрын
I believe you can however the low-e energy efficient glass does block this light so it depends on the type of window and probably also the angle of sunlight (season/time of day/type of weather). I hope this helps!

So encouraging to hear this interview! Such a comprehensive overview! 👏❣️ So many HCWs today don’t “believe” (yikes!) in Covid-19 resulting in poor if any mitigations e.g. masking even in hospital settings and are refusing to take patients’ symptoms seriously. People going to doctors for help are being told to “quit being so lazy” or “it’s all in your head!” Thanks for listening to patients! Kudos to all the long haulers who’ve been willing to participate in various ways! 👏 Thank you so much to both of you. Will be sharing this with friends. 😎😷❤

I was 69 when I had my heart attack on January 30th, 2019. In November, I started to notice my energy level was down. In December, my left arm was hurting for no reason. In early January, I had a case of the sweats one morning and my left arm was hurting more than the previous month. I put it down to my mattress needing to be replaced, as I sleep on my left side. On the morning of January 19th, I was having a coffee with a friend and soon I was sweating like crazy for no reason and became nauseous. I told my friend that I was feeling lousy and ended our visit. I lived alone and simply went to bed to lie down. Then it happened. Extreme pain radiated down both arms. It felt like my arms had been chopped off. I was still sweating like crazy while dialing 911. The operator told me to chew an aspirin and wait for the ambulance. I was in ICU in about ten minutes. Three days later, still in ICU, I had my second heart attack. With exactly the same symptoms. My cardiologist was standing by my bed. Off to the operating room went I. About 40 minutes later, I was back in my bed after two stents were placed in the clogged areas. They saved my life that day. Heart disease does not run in my family, I am active, have a terrific diet and had never even had a heart test in my life. I am now 73 and feel like a million dollars. I am from Victoria, BC, Canada. Huge thanks to the Royal JubileeHospital. And the doctor who saved my life.

When I was in the army, one of the things that many of us used to do before traveling, was Consume as much probiotic yoghurt as we could in the day or two before traveling. We all swore by it. I became a devotee of this practice after the first time getting horribly ill in a foreign country, where I didn’t speak the language, and had to be on the road, horribly horribly sick. It only takes one Super bad experience to learn that lesson. and now, the every day person knows a whole lot, more about pre-and probiotics. And thanks to videos like yours, hopefully everybody will be a little better prepared again. I got pretty sick during the pandemic, for about 18 months. The virus went all through My body, including ulcerating the digestive system, and the presentation looked very unlike the government guidelines expect, so neither myself, nor my doctor knew what the problem was. One thing that really helps if a person is sort of badly stricken way, and there’s nothing else available, it’s to make a simple fructo-oligosaccharide: 15 minutes of pressure cooking the biggest, woodiest carrots you can find, maybe three or four large ones, does the job. But if you’re just traveling, otherwise, and you’re stopped for the evening, you can cook those same big carrots up in a regular pot for a couple of hours. Make sure everything is basically liquefied, and you can add enough of the pot liquor to the carrots to make a litre (four cups); I’d like to add a teaspoon of either Himalayan or Celtic sea salt to it to replenish some of the minerals that a persons body tends to lose under these conditions. Drinking this A few ounces at a time, a few times a day makes a huge difference. Having it five times a day is not unreasonable. This is not the same as carrot soup. It’s about tendering down of the important materials out of the tough fibres in the middle of the carrot. If dealing with a long-term problem, it helps get things under control, pretty fast, and a person can add a few spoonfuls of chilli or whatever to it to shake up the flavour a little bit. And of course there’s always things like green bananas and rice, water, and all the old standbys. Those things really help a lot, even in addition to any pharmacological measure that a person might choose to use.

For sure type two diabetes is reversible. My mother used to be a diabetic. Now she’s not. And she’s not relentlessly chasing down certain nutrients or obsessively exercising. She lives a normal life, with a normal range of food that she eats including treats, Although she does make sure she gets a pretty healthy diet for the most part, and enjoys a little light exercise every day. She did it with the help of a naturopath, over the course of a year.

I’m sorry you had the unusual and concerning reaction/response to pain meds. Doctors should really take note of these responses and be curious as to why this occurs. You would think they’d have enough critical thinking to understand no one is built the same. It’s good to see now that we are starting to realize that our genetics play a role here. I’m very sensitive to medications and tend to have more side-effects and bad one’s to medication than the average person. Can not take Anakinra and another biologic, that most have no issues taking, etc. … One day I’d like to take this test. I’m not in a financial position to do so right now but I’m saving this for a time when I can. I’d like to have some proof and validation to this mystery body of mine. Lol! … I was wondering does it give specific insight into medication responses to say blood pressure type meds and specific classes of blood pressure medications? As I have SEVERE intolerance to them. And also to biologics? Do they let you know the types of medications you can get insight on according to your genetics before even taking the test? Just curious as to how far reaching it is and details to what types of medications?? Can you give a list? Or do they on their website? Thanks for all your help in getting this info out to the public. Very much needed. And, by the way, I enjoy the background ambience music. 😊

These are great questions. The test does give insights into multiple classes of medications. They are always updating the evidence as well as new evidence emerges. If you access the website www.inagene.com there is more detailed information. We also have an expert interview coming up on this topic, so watch for that within the next month or so. Thank you for your interest, and for the thoughtful comment. I'm sure many people can empathize with your experience as well.

Making sure the script is written out correctly. Also, reading the pamphlets for the medications we’re prescribed. Sometimes even doctors and even specialist’s can make mistakes. My Cardiac doctor actually made a really bad error in prescribing a med he was trying to test me on for my chronic pericarditis and didn’t check to see that it was contraindicated if you’re taking Colchicine! Which he was already prescribing to me so it wasn’t that he didn’t know. It would cause a lethal buildup of Colchicine in my body. Thank goodness that just before taking that pill with my meal I read the pamphlet! Of course I didn’t take it and let him know. He nearly choked but never said he was sorry, unfortunately.

Sorry to hear this. Errors do happen, and not more than ever it's important to be aware and know how to ask the right questions and what to watch for - that is one of the focuses of the channel - to help you know what questions to ask and to empower the viewer to feel they can advocate for their own health and work with their healthcare team as much as possible when needed. Thank you for the comment and for your interest in a topic I am also very passionate about.

I'm so glad you have found the channel to be helpful. Good for you for advocating for yourself. I appreciate the comment, and thank you for letting me know.
