It's a long road, I don't know what to say. I know I can't say what they say is the ads and what they say on the TV if I said what they say on the television who knows what they would do to you😊 the media mega millions of dollars to put me down and degrade people

Before I got sober I didn’t know how to live. My life was a small space made of the people, alcohol/drugs and bad decisions I made. I learned life can afford you whatever you need by hard work and consistency. I learned to love and respect myself and therefore was able to with other people. These words may sound exaggerated to some but honestly they don’t scratch the surface of how much life changed for me. Just short of 13 years a kidney stone turned into an addiction to pain medication. Something I never cared for in the past and my arrogance for having been doing so good almost took everything away. If your life revolves around drugs or alcohol and you can find a group to help you turn your life around stick with it. Don’t give up. Your life is worth more than your addiction. You can change. You can find happiness. I’m still struggling, in recovery and refuse to give up. I will not ever give up.

I'm blessed every night when I get to put my head to a pillow and the blessing start flowing every morning when I make the wake up list no more mething around for me been clean 11 months and 9 days and I got to say attending meetings reading the literature and doing the step work really set you free freedom from active addiction and the desire to stop using I was on my hands and knees crying when I sign my papers at the courthouse my act of surrender was very simple and well-deserved today God does unbelievable things through me and in me and I am forever grateful for every other addict I met in recovery

I hate to hear people's excuses and why they got in trouble or why they went to prison it's just annoying. I've had a horrible life I lost both my parents and two of my brothers have been killed in the past and at times when I was younger me and my family were homeless living in a vehicle. Guess what I did not get hooked on drugs or into trouble that put me in jail so stop with the excuses about going to jail
