inside the heart & mind of a muscical genius which is Adam. this video is exactly how I pictured him in my mind, as he creates all of his masterieces. CC fan since 1994~

I'm 46. I was 14 when I listened to Counting Crows for the first time in 1992. I considered myself a Guns and Roses diehard fan at the time. That ended soon after. When I think of my favorite band ever, there's not one occasion when I think of any other than Conting Crows. Ever.

Loved when this and other songs were uploaded on twitter last year! Really intimate and stripped back. Great for all us fans to hear something more for nothing, for just being fans and loving the band and Mr Duritz! Can't wait till they come to Glasgow in April, its been a couple of years. The support act Lucy Rose is pretty amazing too!!

Very moving and emotional song. Would love to hear it live one day. Saw Counting Crows in London on the 22nd and it was the best gig I've ever been to. Waited about 5 years for it and it was well worth the wait! Looking forward to next time already!

I love Adam, and I think this is a wonderful version of the song. The lyrics are very poignant, so kudos to the original songwriter for those. But, for me, the original melody, delivery, and video took away from the emotional quality of the lyrics rather than added to them. Adam's stripped down version, emotional vocal delivery, and sombre video, really suits the lyrics better and I think it makes for a brilliant song. I can't give it any more credit than saying the lyrics read like an Adam Duritz composition and the stripped down, emotional version makes it sound worthy of a place on a Counting Crows album.
