It’s crazy to think we went from the most underwhelming final boss in a 3D Zelda with BoTW, to arguably the best in the entire series with Tears of the Kingdom

Naahh Twilight Princess is the top 1. Not only because the sword fight at the end but the confrontation from the beginning. The battle against Beast Ganon, then a Zombificated Zelda, then a Horse chase with bow and arrows attacks and FINALLY the sword fight in a jail. It's varied, challenging, entertaining, dark and epic. TotK, Majora's and Wind Waker are second tho.

1:33 I mean, you could always NOT do the corner trick if you want Dark Link to be a more challenging boss. FYI, it seems to be a bug as it doesn't work in the Japanese version.

Exactly, it does not work well on JP version. And on western version it is a tip I saw in a magazine. Before I had forfeited several times dark palace alltogether because of dark link. Without knowledge or discovery of cheap trick Dark link is hard as hell.

Have to agree about Majora's Mask. An epic battle to end an awesome game. Just wish the final scene and outro were better.

Majora is scary but... compared to other villains... he is more of a Joke, you can literally just run up at him with your small Kokiri Dagger and stab the shit out of him, at least Ganon has at some point a lorewise invulnerability to anything that is not based on the Element "Holy Light", for Majora you dont even need to collect the other masks to become Fierce Deity Link, you can kill him with anything you have.

Good review, but it's not the best Zelda game. Objectively speaking, it just isn't. Story-wise, I think you might want to take a look at it again cause there's a lot of illogical moments and just straight up dumb dialogue. The intro and the ending to the game are both amazing, but they dropped the ball on some other aspects of the narrative. However, gameplay-wise they absolutely killed it. There's no other game in the franchise that did more revolutionary things with its gameplay, and with such a huge level of polish too. That being said, Ocarina of Time is unbeatable, and A Link to the Past is up there too. Tears of the Kingdom is still a fantastic addition to the franchise, but I would put it in its own category.

For me, Ganon in Ocarina of Time was extremely difficult! I ran out of light arrows. So not only did I not have The Master Sword, I also didn't have the light arrows to weaken him! I had to play around with all my items to figure out what stunned Ganon so I could get behind him. It was even more intense for me!

Tatl is sassy I like that in a character plus she doesn't beat around the bush "Smells like blood" "smells like gunpowder" "You can stick around if you want" gurl... plus her ringing reminds me of tinkerbell which...might be on purpose

Superb review and video to boot. I'm 65 hours in and still haven't done the first main missions on Hyrule Superb game, I think about it constantly and look forward to getting on it once kids and wife are settled doing their thing. It has absolutely revivad my love of gaming.

@@thezapzapman Because Tatl actually has a personality and backstory and Navi does not. Navi is a souless AI that is annoying. All it says is HEY LISTEN! Heres some useless crappy information you already know. Tatl has dialogue with more personality. Tatl has a tragic relationship and back story/lore with skull kid and Tael. Navi is a wet mop. I think Navi is one the biggest misfires nintendo made with Ocarina. Instead of creating a stronger character like midna or king of red lions, we got one of the worst companions of all time with nothing interesting to say, nothing helpful yp say, no personality, and no soul

So yeah I know you are talking about the games. But I want to mention some things for Navi, such as for the Manga of Ocarina of Time. When she first arrives to Link to warn him of the evil, Link is suddenly overwhelmed with joy that a Fairy approaches him as such he would fit in with the other Kokiri. At the end Navi leaves Link and on the story of Majora’s Mask manga he mentions on searching for Navi being is one close companion through his journey.

I had mineru before I even did the fire temple, I just stumble upon it which was a surprise to me. she was the 4th sage I got.
