Lovely! Did you find the size 14 fit you without a ton of ease? I compared the size of this dress per my measurements (which correspond to what they call a size 14 on this pattern) to the finished garment measurements and found 6-8” of ease. I was worried it would be huge on me without serious modifications. It doesn’t look huge on you-it looks like a good fit-but you are 7” taller than me and likely have a larger frame due to bone structure (I’m 5’4” and have small bones and a small frame.) I went on KZbin looking for ppl who have made this and can share their assessment of the pattern concerning fit and ease. Thank you!

Hi, Lynn! I have small bones, broad shoulders, and a broad back. This pattern, Size 14, fits me really well, and doesn’t have excessive ease on me. I would suggest making a muslin first. There are a TON of steps in this pattern, so, if you’re unsure of the size, you certainly don’t want to waste your time and good fabric, and the fit not be correct. Keep me posted! 💗
