I was out on the river said hi to you this day. Right as you’re taking a picture of your trophy smallmouth, you can kinda see my family off in the distance. My son fishes and loves fishing channels. He enjoyed this video. We were all cracking up at your “he jumped back in the boat scene” haha. Nice videos. Relaxing. Peace.

I fish on the duck and on the buffalo river. Is a 110 whopper plopper too big? It looks like you may be using a 110.. I’ve only used it once on the buffalo and didn’t get much action. I caught a 9.9 inch rock bass on a torpedo yesterday. Pretty good size rock.

Definitely not. I don’t use 75’s at all, although I have. I use 110s and even 190s for bass.

Nice day on the river!!...going to have to try that...did the Harpeth at hidden lakes yesterday...super pretty stretch....water was still a bit silty...got some decent ones and of course a giant channel cat...I always get those on the harpeth ...thanks for the video!!

I use GoPro hindsight. It records the previous 30 seconds, constantly, and so whenever you click record it starts 30 seconds into the clip. It’s a great function but has been problematic lately on both my GoPro 10 and 11. The video posting in about a half hour is the GoPro 11 but is still having issues.

One thing I could give you info about if you do an external battery to power GoPro will cut your overheating in half if not eradicate it.

@@chunkyfellafishingI second this. I’m running a go pro with the media mod and a mic. Run the go pro without the battery in it. It will cut on and run as long as it’s connected to the power pack. I fished all day on the 4th on OHL with no issues in direct sunlight. Just keep the power pack covered from direct sunlight. Great video my man! Just subbed 🤙🏻

Gotta tell you the biggest thing that caught my eye was the river itself and how much the Duck looked almost identical to my favorite river here in Missouri the St. Francis. To grow your channel, you really need to do something that most other channels don't do. Example: explain your rod, lure, brand/models, where to buy, how to use lures, etc, etc.

The fish looked to be close to around 18-20” for sure. Clearly well spawned out and in full summer mood. Go back in November-April and that fish will be thick! I have fished the duck for 8 years now. I have personally seen a couple 21s and one 22.5 come from that stretch. Keep it up man!

Fished at leatherwood bridge a few times this week, but haven't had any luck besides a lure sized largemouth. Flung some nightcrawlers right in front of 3 cats in the shallows, but they completely ignored me. Still enjoyed myself. Great video ✌️

It was a good fish (bigger than 2 lbs, and I’d say at least 3), but keep in mind that I fish in rivers, where fish don’t sit and get fat. They burn calories fighting current. They’re long and lean. My PB isn’t a Dale Hollow 9lb smallie, it’s 4lb 3oz Harpeth River smallie. GoPros suck at both zoom and depth. Thats the only thing they suck at.
