Return to the Duck River (Columbia, TN) to Kayak Bass Fish in Late Fall/Early Winter

Late Fall/early Winter is one of the least popular times to kayak bass fish. Cold weather fishing is not for the faint of heart. Good thing I'm well-insulated! Join me on my Bonafide SS127 in search of bass in Columbia, Tennessee. The Duck River is the second most biologically diverse river in the world, and has more bio-diversity than every river in Europe COMBINED.

Hey nice float and much complication. Duck river I skipped it for last 5 years or 7 years but I am going to hit it 2024-2025 like it’s no tomorrow. I am planning to explore at least 50 miles of it. Thanks for sharing your experience. Impressive

I've tried three times to respond on your other video...but something is blocking me....I'll try here....thanks for the invite...next time I go out I will mention it here and see if you are available. I live in the boro..so not too far....but often prohibited by Nashville traffic. Nov. is blocked up with family time....but... with global warming there will be a warm stretch in Dec. probably....I will let you know....there is something about your camera or how you have it setup.... the view of the scenery is excellent...really enjoy it stuck at my desk.

Are the areas you can take a jon boat on the duck near columbia? I know a few launches allow it, but I've heard mixed reviews

I only really know the Columbia Duck area. Howard’s Bridge has a ramp in Columbia.
