May i know your dimension and thickness of your tank?
@sergiophenix2 күн бұрын
maybe the problem lays in the fact they are the long fin variety. I have also six in my tank, the regular type, and they seem healthy and happy. They don't hurt each other or other fish in the tank. They share the quarium with rosy bard, corys and cebras.

Have a RTS in a 3ft tank he's about 4 inches long, with Platys, Swords, Mollies, Gold Gourami, Guppies, Danios and Cories...He's fine, except at feeding times, Mr Hyde comes out and he chases everyone except the Gourami...Actually 1 of them male Guppies pushes his luck and nips his tail then quickly swims off when the shark turns around, when the RTS reaches full size I have a feeling he will try the Gourami, so might have to move all the livebearers etc out and house him with Paradise fish who will hold their own and a Kribensis. Oh and tried him in my Male Betta's tank, and the Betta followed him into a log and it was on big brawl, had take him out. Great fish if your into the aggressive breeds.

Luckily my serpaes have been pretty hardy so far but they truly are assholes to eachother! I have six in my community tank and they don't touch my other fish, just bully eachother and quite the greedy little eaters! So far the fish I have had 0 luck on in which they keep dying are Kuhlis and Albino cories. Great video!

The fish in your tank is valetail and looks baloon eye. It is an hybrid and obviously not hardy as the natural or basic serpea tetras. Don,t blame it on fish, blame on people who developed these varieties.

The best zoos are the last best hope to sustain and conserve thousands of creatures, part of the complex ecological systems that ensure humans can survive, although too many humans do not grasp that fact. Every time a niche is extinguished, like Jenga blocks, the complex ecological system begins to collapse, often with invasive species speeding the degradation of resources.

If you came here to post anti-zoo/anti-captivity comments, you’re wasting your time. They’ll be deleted on sight almost instantly. I’m sorry that PETA has brainwashed some of you into thinking that ALL zoos are terrible places, and continues to ignore the fact that there’s plenty of great zoos out there, including the San Diego Zoo which is world famous for a reason.

I've never had any Panda Garras myself but I've heard it's not a good idea to keep them in pairs as it can cause problems with squabbling which can also cause them to lose their colour. Apparently they should be kept either single or in groups of at least 4 or more to avoid problems. I hear they're great algae eaters though. 😉

I find keeping a red tailed shark with three different catfish doesn’t seem to cause to much of an issue provided enough space is given for territory. Most of the catfish just don’t care about the shark.

Beyond the color differences, redtail and rainbow sharks have slightly different body and fin proportions, too. Redtail sharks can also get a bit bigger than rainbow sharks: 8 inches vs. 6 inches.
