Very intelligent man, it's nice to listen to his scholarly approach to history. But by skipping over the horrific massacres of the 1920s (Nebi Musa riots, Jaffa riots, Hebron massacre, Safed massacre, etc), that started the cycle of violence that continues to this day, it frames the whole conflict as a pure victim-perpetrator narrative. This is the hallmark of propaganda: leaving out the inconvenient parts that interfere with your simplified narrative of good guys vs bad guys. The truth is, Zionists started the conflict by ignoring the needs of the local population, and Palestinians started the violence by committing horrific atrocities in the 1920s. By pretending there are "good guys" and "bad guys" -- and refusing to acknowledge each side's contribution (so that both sides can atone and make peace) is what perpetuates the conflict, and prevents peace.

In the 1970s, my grandparents lived in the building that you showed at the 20:50 mark where Truman Capote also lived. The building owner gave them a nice book on the history of Turtle Bay, so this was a fun video for me.
