Thanks for sharing! I love the day/date stickers, but do you find that they create bumps in the pages that make it harder to write over? I wish I could find a stamp for this and not in multiple pieces.
@elliescorner201919 күн бұрын
@@jomarch1085 I find if they’re always placed in the same spot on the pages (eg. always at the top) it will definitely create a bump that I don’t love writing over. But the transparent stickers are thinner than the regular matte paper, and mine usually have varied placement so it’s been manageable. I also like the traditional date stamps, where you rotate the date… I use that for teaching. 😊 Thank you for watching!

Your video was just what I needed right now. The three days of 2025 in my shiny new set up have been great - keeping up with routines, journaling, et al. But in the back of my mind was the fear that I almost always fumble it at some point. This was a timely reminder that my practices - journaling, self care, growth, etc. - need not be perfect. They just need to be done. Imperfectly, but done! And I can ditch the fear... I know logically, the thing to do is just jump in where I am after a fumble, adjust if needed, and keep going. But it's harder for me, emotionally. Watching someone else pick up and move on was balm to my soul. Going to bed with a big smile on my face. Thank you so much!

Just out of curiosity, which planner did you like better? Papertess or Sterling? Or in other words, bundled months,weeks or separated? Both are beautiful and I ordered a B6S from Sterling but I think I would really like the bundled like Papertess.

Oooh that’s a tough one! I can work with both but if I’m using my planner more for personal (instead of work) I love it bundled together. If I’m in a teaching contract and using it more for work then having the months all together is easier for long term planning my lessons etc. The planners themselves are both amazing, though!

Happy to see you’ve found your groove again Ellie. Curious - when you are under contract and not using your planners how do you keep your plans and to-dos etc straight? Do you not feel scattered? And why do you think you use them less? Is it because it’s too much work to get it setup / so during those times you need a little more preset structure that doesn’t take the time that the setup takes? I find even a basic bujo setup can take time especially if you 1)like it to look nice and 2) like to use at least a bit of deco (stickers/washi).
@elliescorner20195 ай бұрын
@@JustScribble thank you, Shivaun!! When I’m under contract I usually end up reverting back to post-it-note planning, or scribbling on whatever paper is at hand. 😅 And I do my actual teaching plans on the computer because I need them to be accessible to my teaching partner, so that keeps me pretty organized. I don’t keep do any memory-keeping though, which I always regret in the long term. And you’re exactly right - if my planner isn’t structured when I’m in a contract then I’m not likely to use it because of the effort and planning I’d need to do to plan, if that makes sense. I also think there’s a bit of a mental block with using “nice” planners - I like to feel like I have space to scribble and be messy and that’s not what I do in my personal planning so merging them is hard for me. But keeping two separate systems just doesn’t work at all, sooo this year could be interesting! 😂🥰
