Seems just insane to me that the bearing replacement requires such an insane amount of disassembly. If the bearing fails on a road trip, you'd be really screwed.

Friend, what transmission are you running, I have a T55 speed automatic in a fourth generation CRV, I’m doing a head swap I’m going to bring my car up to about 220 wheel horsepower. Do you think an automatic transmission can handle it if I’m not smashing it every day.

Mate I copied your design and it works great and is very steady. I run it on a Turbo Diesel 4x4 that had over boost & heaps of lag. To combat these two problems I also connected a bleed valve to the wastegate line and the physical valve sits on the dash in the cabin. It doesn't change Maximum boost by much more than 2lb pressure either way but you can adjust turbo ramp up speed on the fly to bring on instant boost & it removes around 99% of the lag.Or you can use it to back off boost on the highway. Together they made this slow old clunker go like a performance vehicle. I just set it and forget it and leave it at that. I also paid too much for a retail manual boost controller (a Tillix Valve) which is not very good. It is like a Yuppy designed Dawes valve & it leaks like sieve at the threads. It uses a brass plunger instead of a ball & in my opinion the plunger is too heavy & a lot slower to react to pressure/vacuum. The only good thing is the leaking threads act like a bleed hole which cuts off the boost instantly when you back off, but the downside to this is that the leak also makes it react slower to get full boost. But all is good now,so once again "Thank You"

There's a way better way to do this you have a container with two holes in it and the one hose goes all the way down into the bottom of the gasoline and the other hose just goes right into the top and then you suck the air through the gas tank and it bubbles the gas up and you sucking a lot more efficiently

I am so glad I found your video because out of all the ones I watched that go over how to build an evaporator and install it you're the first one that explains exactly how to do it and how far the hoses have to be going inside the tank and how to pinch the fuel line and also building that too that is connected to your air intake and into the house is that going to the tank now I can see the whole picture and I can actually do it myself I'm going to do a video and comment back on yours and how my vehicle did I have a V6 Taurus and I'm trying to gain at least anywhere between 5 to 10 thank you and again👏💪🍻

Used the GenIV rod in a GenIII engine, so before I began, I weighed all the rods and found that the newer rod weighed about 32 grams more than the older pressed pin rods. There was a 23 gram difference in the pistons, the newer design being heavier. I took the whole assembly, rods, bearings, pistons & pins retainers, and rings to an engine shop to have it balanced. The crankshaft needed weight added to balance it out. Also took the dampener, and flywheel along to have them checked. Tungsten can get pretty expensive, they welded the balance holes up to make up the weight difference.

The oggle design used vacuum and a heavily reinforced fuel tank with a heating system (cause the vacuum and evaporation make the tank freeze), it gave 400 miles on a single 4 gallon tank driving a huge 2+ ton car (it was a 70s ford galaxy, huge engine to boot, so taking modern lighter cars and more efficient engines you could get 5 to 10x that) this is not fiction it was PROVEN by several science an car magazines and institutions shortly before he was found dead and all his designs and prototypes disappeared, many years after another guy cracked the design and made it work again he was also found dead on mysterious circumstances

People do something similar in sweden with diesel but not for fuel efficency they put spill oil in a gas tank in the engine bay and add evry mod to it so alot of black smoke would come out but if you get stopped like that you get a big ticket like 1000 dollars plus you have to go through an inspection again

I would use an old noodle sieve and duct tape, probably works just as well. Well unless the turbo gets really hot, but you can also use thermal tape, every guy has probably laying around at least one of these components.

Dang man, where the hell have I been? You have provided us with so many awesome videos over the years and I have always remembered this build, but I haven't seen an update in so long that I thought that you fell off, but then again I have so many channels that I am subscribed to that I can't keep up with hardly any of them. I miss this build. The 944 and 928 have always been among my favorite Porsches.
