Have you ever heard of The Foam Zone?? It was a livestreamed competition show hosted by Old Spice. One of the closest things I can think of to this, honestly it would make a great video the whole thing was wild

I can get how people don’t like 97’s OP - they’re wrong but I get it - but the ending isn’t liked???? How?? It’s perfect

There shouldn’t be any warnings or disclaimers about the so-called “Offensive” material. Miura gives you everything that is needed in a series about demon slaying; it’s not going to be peaceful, it’s not always going to be fun. It will be violent and it will be disturbing because it’s literally hell. Have some thick skin and strap in for the ride.

I can 1000% see how this premise can work. In terms of what it's about. Making worst movies of great ones is a fun set up for jokes and a sitcom. But yeah, it's just not the right crew and the right talent behind it. I've seen so much media over the last 10 years that are incredible in how they tackle dark themes and light-hearted comedy but internet comedy I just don't see it really meeting that potential most of the time with a few exceptions here and there. Especially these early KZbin success stories. I can see the genuine desire to branch out, but internet comedy does put you in a box unless you have the right crew and script to push yourself.

W Take, Lady Emily. The show is a joke. Why does the audience sound effects make a game show boring? Cause it is.

I didn't even become interested in Gorillaz until about five years ago... but when I started listening to their music, I rapidly found myself really liking them a lot. Then I heard On Melancholy Hill... that was the song that made me decide that I love Gorillaz.

The most hypocritical part of this video is when she says the show is a ' tropy? repetitive show' -she is babbling about what she will be doing for minutes without getting anywhere ; then going ' before we get started. .; then some sarcasm... just start! Also any show reviewer who uses the word 'arc' is a pretentious verbal parrot. Arc of the plot was once an insight into shows like 'Buffy' that changed TV from episodic to story lines that were year long and sometimes multi year. Now people with no talent or style doing show reviews dump words like 'arc' and 'plot armor' ( no idea where that started but it's idiotic) everywhere

I know it's kind of an overused phrase these days, but shows like this literally remind me that we're living in a dystopia, I'm not even joking.

I would say hes a restauranteur with higher aspirations. Tv chef...i guess, but its a reach, because that dudes smile said, "I'll do anything you say cuz i simply cannot return to memphrica." Between the success 3-6 mafia that led to the rap dream and the grizzlies bein the basketball dream, those are overwhelmingly how the avg memphian sees gettin out. Otherwiss its gangs or BBQ joints. Yea of course theres regular folks there. I dont subscribe to skin color determining behavior but the culture is killin them. Sometimes, memphis feels like a movie its so surreal :-/

9:11 People like this have similar energy to people who feel the need to tell you how "fake" professional wrestling is. Like yeah, but they *are* still doing all those moves and shit - why are you mad they're not *actually* trying to hurt each other (not that it stops them from getting hurt anyway)?

Love how the comments are basically shitting on Doug, when the video is about why his MOVIE sucked. Not him. Everyone knows that sucked and he himself knows that. His channel and content itself is genuinely fine as is, the amount of views he gets is genuinely fine, as is considering how many subscribers he has. He's not the best bit he's definitely not the worst.

Thanks for this video, Emily. I got into Gorillaz many years into the long hiatus after Phase 3 when no one knew if there would ever be more Gorillaz, so I didn't experience Plastic Beach's initial reception and the troubles of the phase. By the time I got into Gorillaz, Plastic Beach had cemented itself as a beloved album and many people's favorite, so I had no clue that it was so divisive upon release. I also just want to say that trying to piece together Phase 3 lore (in-story and IRL) years after the fact at a time when there were basically zero phase lore recaps online was a wild three weeks for me lol. Also I love seeing all the comments of people mentioning when they got into Gorillaz. This band has been getting new fans for over 20 years now, and that's so special <3
