This book is 316 pages with the index. This book has 14 chapters in it. This book also has a glossary in it. Would I recommend this book to a friend or family member interested in this subject? Yes, I probably would. How to survive the end of the world as we know it, by James Wesley Rawles, is a good book to have in any library. That being said, not everybody is going to have a bug out location.

I was watching high school college & pro. I gave it all up over 10 years ago. My entire life has improved mentally, physically & with my immediate family. I live my own life now, not within someone else's.

A piece of wire longer than 5 feet will be better! I use 20 feet. You can probably get the "alligator clip" from a home improvement store or eBoo, since Radio Shack is out of business. Put the clip on one end and tie the loop on the other end. Then you can tie some twine to the loop and a weight, and throw the weight over a tree branch.

When we go to their games or watch them on TV and buy their products(Jerseys, Hats, T-Shirts, etc.)we’re paying their salaries

I’ve made of few of those. But I go one step further and solder the wire and bent over little clips. Makes for a better and more permanent connection.

Nice video about a simple way to improve shortwave and also on FM, but never use more than 25 Feet (7,6201 m) not to overload your analog radio and reception goes bad on all bands. Also you get images a lot from stations you can tune in but which arent on that frequency originally. One tip more: Keep that anrenna nearby a window or better outside the room. Keep in mind you have more signals but you also more noises (RFI of computers, TVs etc.) on shortwave. However, its a cheap and fast option to improve reception for simple world band receivers or kitchenradios. Vy, 73

Placing a radio near metalwork can also increase the signal strength

This narrative was very accurate at the time. I fled the city after 15 years in 2012 but in what can only be described as a miracle turnaround the city has since become quite the place. I am currently moving back and thanks to the awful real estate prices when I did move out I still own my condo there having refused to sell it at a rock a bottom price. In fact, real estate pricing sort of says it all. In just 6 years my property has gone up 300%.

So Port Richey sucks now. That's the vibe of the replies.
@BrokenInTheBox6 жыл бұрын
Port Richey is worse than New Port Richey regarding crime; and is more populated. Over all though West Pasco isn't as bad as everyone's making it seem. Target closed down, but now a Burlington Coat Factory and Ashley Home Store are there now. The old Service Merchandise Store that sat empty for years has been bought & a UHaul store is there now.
