I used to listen to John MacArthur I even have a MacArthur study Bible. But he makes it too complicated. How do you know you are saved? Have you believed the gospel, that's it. That means... Do you believe Jesus is who's the New testament says he is? Do you believe he died on the cross and that his blood was enough to pay for your sin and he rose from the dead? Yes? Ok good. Now confess with your mouth and you are saved. Stop looking at your own works to try to determine if you are really saved. Don't even look at your own thought life to know whether you are really saved. Look at what the Bible says. As Jesus himself said. I'm confused as to this contradiction you keep referring to. I completely agree that Paul writes primarily to and about Jewish Believers in the first 8 chapters, and then primarily addresses gentile Believes, and the reason for his writing Romans is the reconciliation of these 2 groups. He wants them to "lift one voice". But how does this undo his clear teaching that, Romans 9:23-24 “And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles...” It's not all Jews who are chosen, and it's not all gentiles who are vessels of wrath, but God has chosen a people in Christ, Jews and gentiles alike.

Hey Brother Jonny. Excellent video my friend. Long story short. My almost 18yr old son was exposed to witchcraft in highschool. He went down a very dark path. During a home fellowship over a year ago the lead pastors and youth prayed with him no big fan fare or wild demonic activity and he was freed from the stronghold of that darkness.. it's a reality that churches and parents are not adequately discerned on how captives are set free. The Word!

The truth is who is Jesus or any God of any religion to offer anything to anybody ? Exactly what is those low life's level and standard ? They should just shut up.

MacArthur has done more damage to the Kingdom than even the most vile demon.. by causing needless doubt in our assurance of salvation, he has resulted in countless people giving up on Christianity.. because how much works is good enough to prove your salvation? he does not know the answer, but he sure makes it clear that you dont do enough
