I am a missionary in West Africa. I have experienced demonic attacks and seen many around me attacked. Thank you for this discussion. I often feel like I have to be so careful about who I ask for prayer for these things because of the ignorance of the conservative western church in this area.

I have raised my daughter to fear the Lord. We have always struggled with knowing what has been spiritual and what has been medical. She has cerebral palsy and as of 4 years ago she started having seizures. She struggles with rage and bitterness. She also hates when I watch Ray Comfort witnessing. I love her so much but am at the end of my rope trying to keep my sanity. I would ask whoever reads this to please pray for Grace. Thank you Costi and Jonny for getting weird and talking about a topic that I’ve struggled to navigate as a Christian dad.

Thank you so much for this discussion, I am attacked when I’m in the word daily and now I know why. I felt as if I must be doing something wrong but I now know that satan is attacking me spiritually and I will continue to trust in God my savior and continue in prayer and studying the word.

I encourage you to be around other believers you trust. Be in fellowship, discipleship with peers. Request prayer and laying of hands on you. Observe the attacks/observe what aspect of praise or worship (any act that glorifies God, Jesus) even agitates/bothers you (ask for prayer here). The attacks do not stay around or stay the same way indefinitely. But always remember when we are in Christ, He is yours and you belong to Him.

We must be suited ,booted ,and rooted in His Righteousness . Ephesians 6:13 🪖 🛡️ 🗡️ 👟 About 2 years ago I had an encounter with a woman who was demon possessed as I was building tents for an art festival here in Fort Worth . I could here as my back was turned and my coworker had warned me but I was in prayer as I was working as she drew closer I could hear her cursing words as I turned around I said the Lord rebuke you as Michael said to Satan in the book of Jude and she trembled with fear as she fell back just as the Bible says the demons tremble at the name of Jesus . She ran away never saw her again but my coworker witnessed that and was encouraged to follow Christ. SoliDeoGloria Great video brothers love ya and thank ya in Christ name!!

It is unfortunate when we let pride, guilt/shame, or unrealistic standards (that we place on ourselves) of how we should behave/act when working in ministry to keep us from being completely honest and vulnerable with others - this is where the devil thrives.. when we are in isolation with our struggles! It’s soooo important to have a community that we can go to & be vulnerable and honest. There are many great points throughout this conversation! Glad you guys are talking about something that seems to be swept under the rug by certain Christian circles 🙌

I think in these times there are so many children being handed a phone. Then as teenagers parents purchase phones for them which opens them up to whatever is going on in the world. Parents need to be parents and guard their minds. I’m glad for this video. Parents need to be aware.

I think this is a big problem among believers not being completely honest with each other. They do things in secret knowing it’s wrong so they don’t say anything and it just perpetuates the cycle. Things need to be talked about. If you’re afraid to be honest with your believing friends how can they help you. I think we have all struggled with this. We need to be honest and realize that we need help and a believing friend should come alongside you and pray and help you not judge you. It’s a lonely cycle to get into. We all need to profess and confess if we want to be healthy spiritually in Christ.

Such a great discussion with such transparency. Refreshing! I get the first experience caught you off guard and but God knew what you were going to encounter. Something I kept thinking about was scripture. When Jesus was tempted He quoted scripture. The second encounter with the girl you prescribed reading scripture and you read Romans 12. That is where Satan loses!! The sword of the Spirit!! Ephesians 6:17 NASBS And take the HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The devil does come at you wide open sometimes. When I got saved i was attacked very openly for about 3 months. It was nightmares, banging/knocking in the house, waking me up all night with a feeling of fear, growling/tapping on my shoulder during prayer, and movement in my room. Mind you, i originally did not believe in the spiritual realm before being saved. I was so sleep deprived until i learned to pray spirtual warfare and cast them out of my house. Thats why it is so important to teach the sheep to pray. This is an important conversation.

When we coming closer to God and Jesus Christ. We must accept that we will be often be attacked by the Evil one. But do not be afraid but feel blessed because God has a great plan for you! And the devil hates it! When we are close to Jesus Christ we might notice the prowler around us but he can't come close because Jesus Christ protect us. Hallelujah, hallelujah hallelujah praise the living Jesus ❤

Eph.6:18-20 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. We miss that during all the instructions for putting on the armour of God, verse 18 , by what power do the saints have in being able to call on God to do all Paul is instructing in the previous versus.

Deliverance and discipleship go hand and hand. You can’t have one without the other. It also takes communion with Holy Spirit (hearing HIS VOICE) and asking him what’s going on, and telling that spirit to go! There could have been more than one spirit and could have been a rough one to get out. I believe you experienced that for reason, so that you can’t deny the ministry of deliverance. It’s real and it’s what is needed in this hour. Look around at the world? We are in an identity crisis. There are demons all around us and yet no one can “see” them. Jesus told US to heal the sick and raise the dead, and make disciples.

Can anyone clarify for me please, what the interviewer says around 14:35: “He (Satan) is perfectly content if You come to Christ, so long as You …” What does he say at the end of the sentence? Thank You if You answer, God bless You

First let’s address the fact that it’s OK for YOU to talk about renewing of the mind and the battlefield of the mind but it’s not OK for Joyce Meyer to talk about so…GOT IT…. Second let’s talk about the fact that when God comes into our life and I’m not saying that Christians get demon possessed, but you wonder why so many Christians struggle with pornography or struggle with alcohol or struggle with different areas of their life it’s because they have not given God Lordship over that area of their life. So yes, they’ve become a Christian they wanna follow God they wanna do what’s right, but still struggle with “x” we are all walking out our salvation. That’s what oppression is. It’s not as soon as you get saved. Everything‘s gone in your life…Yes, could that happen in peoples life? Yes but not all the time. This is a walk of faith. This is walking out our salvation so I think you’re wrong in that area that once God comes into your life, everything‘s good and dandy it’s not Christians do struggle with things, and that’s an area of their lives that they have not handed over yet. When God purchases our temple, our house he purchases it “AS IS” So we can have a rundown house from our experiences in our life that’s where the renewing of the mind comes in that’s where a lot of things come into play when it comes to scripture. I think the devil would love for everyone to think that you are fine and dandy, he would love for everyone to not believe in deliverance. Jesus ministry was all about deliverance .
