I'm pretty sure you haven't met God in the game or completed a perfect game. People doing new game plus are actually failing the perfect game every time repeating the same mistakes that's why they have to go to different worlds. I completed the mine perfect. Zero innocent lives lost.

You say that the railroad is not moral because they destroyed the brotherhood... They... They were attacked first though, the brotherhood tried to wipe them out. True, their goal is ending the institute's reign, but they kinda have to deal with the guy with a gun at their front door before they can go down the road. As for going into hiding instead of murder, that's true, but they did kill an important member of the railroad in that raid, it was partially an emotional outburst, but to give a more logical reason, the brotherhood clearly are more interested in hunting down them than they are towards actually hunting down the institute, having to hide from the institute was one thing, hiding from two groups, one that has extremely advanced technology and the other that has eyes in the sky everywhere, that's significantly more difficult and could lead to even more deaths. It's true that overall, this route resulted in significantly more casualties compared to the alternative, but the alternative came with a high chance that the railroad would be wiped out, along with all the work they did finding the institute and preparing a full scale rescue of every synth in the bunker. In their mind, hundreds dead is far better than hundreds enslaved.

How is Railroad idealistic? Railroad is the most realistic and grounded one. Other factions are the ones who aim to change and save the Commonwealth. Railroad just aims to liberate the synths.

The factions are very cartoonish, they are all caricatures of what they should be, and because of that unrealistic, as humans usually have deeper motivations and explanations for their actions. Preston is a blank canvas generic good guy minuteman. Maxwell feels like he has two brain cells that say "robot bad" in a loop. The entirety of the institute is in moral denial about their actions, etc. In New Vegas for instance, when you get to talk to Caesar or Dr. House you immediately realize no matter if right or wrong, these are philosophies one could arrive by given their circumstances, and gives these fictional characters a much needed depth and realism.

The BOS do make a good Space Marine play through though

My biggest wish is that they do a hotbar fix.. cuz that radialmenu thing is just not it.. like why was there not a setting for that in the original? I cannot understand it! It makes zero sense that they chose to go with a radialmenu.. But! I LOVE the mods that are availeble 😁🫡

You would think the brotherhood would be more than thrilled to find that a good amount of escaped synths also want revenge against the institute. Hell even be more thrilled for the railroad who want to free synths but also destroy the institute. Like the phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

I'm not saying the Minutemen aren't flawed. But Preston definitely isn't just making you leader after 10 minutes for no reason. You randomly turned up and took out a dozen or more raiders single handedly. Jumped in a power armour suit. Ripped a minigun off a vertibird. Then took out a deathclaw. You do make a pretty good first impression. Of course Preston is going to try recruit you.

I think I'd best align with the Railroad (the Minutemen is tiring), but I definitely have my criticisms. Like when Patriot self-dies, Desdemona acts like nothing was wrong. I don't like how their attitude against slavery is "there are other anti-human-slavery groups, so we dont pay attention to that." Like.... what? I understand not many want to help the synths, but at the very least, put some effort into stopping human slavery. I don't mind blowing up the Brotherhood airship, tho. The ONLY branch I've liked was the one in the Capitol wasteland. I definitely don't like killing possibly innocent lives, but that will happen no matter what faction you choose. Desdemona reminds me of Astrid from Skyrim and she gets on my nerves. Just one slap would be nice.

I cried too, for the total waste of money on a game that was beautiful, but played like crap. Crap story, lacklustre characters, grindy quests, broken level up system, inability to maintain decent armor and weapons. I could go on, but I'm bored even talking about the game.

Even if they "suck" they're pretty damn realistic given their circumstance. In a real world fallout situation as given in game, there would be an institute. There would be a BOS, likely with the same goals if not similar, there would be an underground railroad, people who understand and or have a false ideology that synths can think for themselves. And there likely would be a humble group with the simple goal of helping survivors.
