No need to use ascid, if your using dirt replacer, dirt replacer also add rock texture.. If you add them together it will overwrite the code, and this may cause crashes on ps4/pro .. The author julihah said dont add rock texture with another rock texture... Dirt replacer load order should be at the buttom order.

Hey man! Wanted to say thank you for this video. I have only just got my first ps4 and have re bought Skyrim having not played it for a few years. I was nervous about modding- people make it sound really complicated- and it’s seems much can go wrong. However I simply loaded up my favourite 8 or so mods using a little bit of logic and also any tips the modder gave on where to put it on the load order. I have not had any problems at all and Skyrim looks absolutely AMAZING!! I’m so chuffed. I’ve never seen it like this since the game came out… it’s like playing Skyrim 2 or something!! All I need to do now is get a new TV and it’s gonna blow my mind all over again… Thanks so much for making this video, I’ve used about 6 of the ones you suggested. Heart of Azeroth is the game changer in many ways…

My issue with modding Skyrim on my PS4 Pro has ALWAYS been getting the load order correct. Even looking at "official" guides for how to arrange mods, it's often a toss up as to where to place certain mods, as certain mods could easily fall under different categories / mod definitions, which will effect where you try to place them in your order.

They added survival mode lad for the new 10th anniversary bundle, now you’ll need to sleep and eat to perform at top performance and no fast travel allowed at all.

@@TheAlmightyNameless My friend playes with survival mode a lot, I prefer a more realaxed experience, where i don't have to keep track of things like that. That was actually the point of teh no fast travel-long relaxing walks to every place I need to go. I also set the rule that I have to enter every dungeon I pass by, which turns out to be a lot of fun. Thank you for the reply, maybe I will try out survival mode despite that. @@edmundroth6337 it seems to be, yes. I would disable Immersive Citizens though. It effects frames a little bit but it was also was causing my game to crash constantly in Dragonsreach. I would also recommend using Obsidian Weathers instead of Rustic Weather is you want a brighter/more vibrant look

Great list, I use a lot of those same mods, many of which are quite under rated. If you're on ps4 though I'd say drop the fps mod, it's cool as a novelty kind of thing but not really worth the stuttering and inconsistency if you play with a heavier load order. I'd suggest trying the Skyrim Detail Update mod by wrighton instead for some other asthetically pleasing changes, as it makes a bunch of small but impressive alterations to the landscape, lod and several other visual details of skyrim. Load it high in the load order so other mods can overwrite its changes if need be.. And rather than dense grass try More Grass, its a newer grass mod also by wrighton that pairs very well with his detail update.. And I think Ascid and Juliah's dirt replacer might overwrite eachother's rock, dirt and road changes if used together so whichever mods changes you want to see load that mod lower, though personally I'd probably drop the dirt replacer mod entirely as I'm not fond of the overgrown, grassy road look. However you choose to mod the game though, this is video has a great list of mods to start with

I've only just picked up skyrim again after a few years. Never really wanted to bothered with the mods, but then when my latest saved game failed to load due to the black screen issue. I thought what the hell. It's now very hard to pick the right mods without loosing the original game play. So this really helps. Thank you.

So I am running your personal mods list on the new PS5 version of Skyrim and I was getting crashes but thanks to a few gins and some process of elimination I found the tricky mod to be Immersive Citizens AI overhaul. For whatever reason it just didn't like it. Runs like a charm now without it though and everything looks great. So if anyone else if having issues with the new PS5 port that might be of use to you! Thanks for the video and the list, great work

Immersive Citizens in general is a complete headache no matter what version of Skyrim you're playing. A shame, since I really like mods that give a hit more of life to NPCs.

Man thanks so much for this. I was using another recommended load order before and it sucked. Everything was super saturated, the lighting was too bright and the effects were overpowering. But this is perfect. It stays true to the original look and feel of Skyrim, it just enhances everything, and makes all the textures and environments so much crisper and clearer.

This is a great mod list however for the best graphics mods on ps4 (in my personal opinion is) 1: dolomite weathers 2: relighting skyrim 3: ia92’s crispy lights 4: ia92’s improved console graphics V5 5” improved shadows and volumentric lighting 6: ascid- a skyrim covered in dirt 7: dirt and rock overhaul (I forget the name sorry!) 8: water- water and terrain overhaul. Another big thing that changed my console skyrim life is julihahs retextures, color replacer pack, guard armor change, julihahs town/city mods.

In my experiences... if you have trouble with lagging after doing this, I blame it on dense grass. Uninstal that mod and it'll fix it
