Amen, this is forever true! It’s so much better to let go of people and things that aren’t serving us and to surrender to God’s will. I look back and remember one year in high school where I went back to a crush that I could feel in my spirit was not meant for me, but it was almost like lust was causing me to go back to her. It’s so important to really listen to God putting in our hearts to let go of what’s not for us.

I apreciate your testimony Jackie. One hint about dreams that I've learned. Sometimes God uses in dreams persons like pictures to convey messages. When you described your dream with that guy I saw as a metaphor of Jesus (the persuer of your heart). Now that you are married, the same metaphor of Jesus can be conveyed through the picture of your husband in whatever dream. As a man I would have some dream with this or that church single girl as like we were in restaurants or libraries, just talking each other. But the interpreation was she was just a picture of the church, that need to be taking care and feed. If I am married the same picture of the Church wold come through my wife. For all, please check Holy Spirit in your heart, He is the revealer of truth (Jo16:13). God is more willing to clarify things to you than to force you do things missing informations. (Dn2:23).
