Every day I’m trying to be a better man. I been reading my bible which I didn’t do at all before. it’s amazing how God speaks in scriptures. Fist of all great vid, also God lately has opened my eyes to things, such as seeing the world as it really is, such as , trees, people see the trees as just trees, what they don`t see is God creating that tree, it`s leaf shape, its size, whether it sheds it`s leaves or not. Creation is not ramdom events as all life comes from God. I look at the flowers, how unique each one is and the colours, blows my mind and as its written " I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds " . And the good we think we are knowing is the "good" from ourselves. We're saying WE want to do it instead of relying on God. But Jesus shunned the apple. He shunned His own will for the Father's will. He drank the bitter cup. He knew there would be immense joy from obeying the Father, so He endured the cross. The cup is the antidote for the poison of sin. If we embrace a life of adversity that God allows in order to show us how to react properly, how to trust God and not do things our way, the joy that Jesus experienced can be ours, too. The peace that we can't understand will replace what we are trying to fulfill our own. God will be pleased and will give us the desires of our heart--in His way, and we will find our purpose and the meaning of life.

💯 Truth Jackie!! Far too much of it happening right now. (Manifesting that which ((we)) want)...Not His will... We see that when God said don’t eat of the tree, He meant it. We weren’t ready, nor in an existence / experiencial place to handle the paradigm of those attributes to deal with correctly, coupled with the fact of, not heeding obedience and following that which, He had already set in place He’d pre-ordained for us and no more. The going forth of His mouth (creation) doesn’t, that right there is the reason He positions obedience. He’s the only One whom knows All and is All. One large lesson of faith and obedience to His Word is being tested from the moment the trees were established it seems to this fella. The Word; was spoken in the garden and then later through His book 📖 through the prophets and Jesus himself. Hello Tena ! Thank you :) Jesus speaks in MANY ways. Through reading the Bible. Sitting quietly in His presence, through worship, through prayer (His voice sometimes comes as an intrusive thought you know was not yours and it does not contradict His Word, does not condemn, and is peaceful and soft), through other people, through prophets, He can speak through circumstances, and He can also speak through dreams and visions (begin to ask for dreams and write them down when you get them EVERY TIME and He will see you are a good steward and give you more) we learn from the book of Job that God speaks to men through dreams.

Reminscent of the "name it and claim it" doctrine of the 90's. Never felt right to me. We're not of the world, so we shouldn't be desiring it. God gives us what's sufficient, no need to get envious. I just bought a half acre a few weeks ago and decided I'd love to buy the other half next to me if they should sell. But then I bought the 10 commands and put it on my wall and realized I was coveting and stopped desiring it. I don't believe in a works based relationship with God, but if he didn't want us to do it then, he doesn't now. I don't want to do what those of the world do, I want to do what Jesus does.

I know this a long comment im sorry I can't help it im a writer and like to express alot, but hopefully won't be overlooked and ignored. This message you shared is alot of my recent struggles in my life and faith. It is hard to follow Christ and live for God especially when people around you don't or supposed to but are worldly minded or lukewarm or religious. Then the devil use people to attack me and my faith with all this unbelief rhetoric and lies, like for example yesterday this guy talking about he used to be a Christian and was even a pastor but he also one of those people who put race before everything else including God. He was saying why do black people still suffer and struggle so much and still Christian if God loves black people especially with how black people are always treated and viewed. He used scriptures and one he said was you should be the head and not the tail the above and not beneath and he was like how can that be meant for black people when they are always done the opposite of that even if they are in Christ. Part of me wanted to agree because it does sort of seems that way and even I feel like that in my life personally, even with sharing this in the comments and possibly being overlooked or ignored like most the time i comment on videos i feel that. But I know better than what he thinks because i don't put race first and above all and everything and i don't overlook how there are black people who do succeed and thrive and do well so i don't understand his standing on believing God doesn't care about black people. Maybe its people in general including black people who don't have a true relationship with the Lord like the Bible says with their lips they acknowledge me but their hearts are far from me and i don't wanna be like that. I do get discouraged by that though when I know i want to surrender all and really have God take over my life and all of me and then when it seems like when i pray and cry out and plead for God to help me and show me and bring me up i don't know what's the problem. Its so much and i already wrote ALOT and probably nobody will read or care which is enough problem and a part of my struggle. It seems like Christians not all but too many dont have compassion and a heart for others and don't care about people no more. People struggling and hurting but they will be like well your being too weak or you need to just stop being faithless or in error or something and they don't pray for you or anything. I feel like im in a place in life right now and season where I could be at a crossroads and i want to go right and not ever again be on the wrong road and way and do like i done before black sliding and being out of God's hands and presence. I owe God my life literally because a year ago i got shot in the face and almost died should have died but only God i know kept me alive there's no explaining it any other way and nobody no atheist or anything can tell me otherwise. I want God in my life but i don't want the religious self centered self righteous stuff or people around me and i don't want to just use God or make being a Christian an add on to my life just because and go through the motions and just go to church as just another thing to do like it seems alot of people do. I want to have God really change all me and my life and use it for his glory and plan. I want to do things with this life regardless of how the world is and time left to bring glory to God whether with my lifestyle the work i do the money i will make the things I do to serve the talents i got the woman who God gives me to be my wife and kids we could have and things to do in the future to make life count and make a difference for God's kingdom and glory and show the love of God to people. But idk if you or anyone will even read all this and pray for me but I'm hoping that in this time im in it will go well and I don't fail or go the wrong way but its so hard when i basically been mostly lonely and have not really anyone to really talk to and connect with. Most people at my church are elderly or people i don't know like that. Besides my pastors and brother and maybe maybe my parents i ain't got no friends mentor or nothing like that so i have to lean on God. Its such an extra struggle going through all this recovery and therapy and being at home most the time when i thought I would be back to normal life and completely recovered by now and doing things but thats not the case and it makes it more discouraging when you aint heard from or see your friends or whoever.

But I'm confused about the speaking positively there's power in our words so for negative all the time that's not good I would think that it would be a good thing to wake up in the morning and say positive things like God loves me and i am worthy of Gods love. But you're making it sound like we can't do that and if that's the case it means I live in negativity all the time because my life is miserable and telling myself God lives me and is with me it's just about the only thing that keeps me going

I can think of some areas in the Bible where God does ask us to be like him, emulating his characteristics, but I think the lie was that all of God’s power is in his omniscience- which is a distortion of who He is- our God is holy because even with all his power he took on the most humble position of service to others- (so the knowledge doesn’t make him holy) and we worship Him because no one will ever have that much submission with that much authority

Gena, he preaches a prosperity gospel. Although he has the gift of exhortation, he perverts the gospel in a very cunning way that can go right over your head if you don’t study your Bible and constantly sharpen your discernment of the Holy Spirit. Joseph teaches that repentance simply means a change of mind, he NEVER preaches true genuine repentance of sin. It is a hyper grace gospel and is leading MILLIONS to Hell.
