Very nice, I would put caps on the pneumatic tool ports or figure out how to flip them over to avoid dust getting in them.

Ah right the ones on the peg board hanging upside down. That’s actually a really good idea, I’ve probably been blowing dust in those this whole time and haven’t noticed. Think I can flip them and they will still balance. Thank for the tip!

Aagghh! At 8:45 I thought I was going to see a practical lesson of hazard reduction. Man, you are lucky the hoodie ties didn't find their way into your drill. BAN all hoodie strings (and other danglers) from shops with ANY power tool. EDIT: And please use PPE when needed, especially eye protection.

Well, I definitely wouldn't say this workbench was low cost, spending $1,400 on a workbench is pretty excessive. But for me and this kind of project, definitely worth it if you have some money to invest.

@@vanishingcabinets I know you show your plans in the beginning, but have you thought about posting them for download/for sale? I can find a way to incorporate the flip top miter and the routing station as well, but the structure and layout of this bench ticks all the boxes for the space I've got to work with. No worries if not, I can probably build something off the techniques and explanations you give in this and your other videos if I had to. Thanks in advance, keep up the great work on your projects and videos!

Rabbit hole of YT workbench videos...ABSOLUTELY! I'm currently lost down that very same hole but your video is helping me (so far) crawl back out of that hole. I really appreciate the "list of must haves" and overall realistic approach to your design based on entirely on your honest assessment of what type of woodworking you actually do. Making forward progress out of that hole is much easier when you say to yourself, "Hey, this is what I do" and avoid getting caught up in, "Hey, someday I might want to do this thing."

@@vanishingcabinets aye, hollow knight one of my favorite games! :D ayo I'm just finishing watching the video and my man, this behemoth makes the table saw look like it's suppose to go in a drawer! Well earned like and sub, keep pushing and you gonna break through! I would suggest, since you asked for it and everything, that you make smaller and quicker projects so you can churn em out a bit quicker. It's gonna be easier to grow like that and people get a lot more invested in smaller projects that they might actually make on their own which also makes people revisit the video. Well earned like and sub anyway!

You’ve done a great job on the bench. Like everyone else is saying, don’t care so much about other’s opinions when it comes to your work. The best thing about that top is that once you’ve decided to replace it in a few years, it’s s not like you’re destroying the entire thing. You’re just replacing that top.
