I agree, it is more than just baseboards.

To save time, pre-nail both the top and bottom pieces to the white base board before cutting, that way you only make the cuts once, as opposed to cutting them individually.

Thats a great idea! Would have made the cuts for the trim more consistent to the white boards as well.
