I've always loved the 1960 Polara and Matador, especially in this gorgeous metallic blue paint. As much as I like as is, I've always wondered if it would have been better received had they moved the fin back just a bit - may 4-6 inches or so?

A superb restoration I think this may be the car I tried to buy many years ago. That car was in Florida and missing the Grill. It was apparently originally owned by Princess Marie of Romania! And one of about 6 made. Very rare and desirable.

MOPAR cars were the pinnacle of style and beauty in the late 50's. It took GM 2 years to catch up, Ford 3 years. I like DeSoto's better, but this is a real head turner. MOPAR started out the decade looking like more like boxes on wheels.

Oh gosh Mike, that is one gorgeous car. !!!!👍👍. Super sweet clean engine. That Regatta Blue color is outstanding. What a great choice the owner made over the original black. You can tell he is so proud of this car and his work on it. 😊😊 He had every piece of original paper information and sales information. From what I could see on original sales ticket, price was $3975. Not an inexpensive car back then. Liked this one Mike, TY sir.

Slowing sales of the traditional Morgan roadsters in the early 1960s prompted Peter Morgan to think about adding an additional model to the lineup. Bodies were made of thick glassfibre by EB Plastics. The body was then attached to a standard "Z" section ladder chassis manufactured by industry giant Rubery Owen. The Plus 4 Plus was much more expensive than the Plus 4, which didn't help sales. A fire at EB Plastics ended production after 26 cars were made and two spare body shells. One shell was later used to repair an accident damaged US car and the last remaining body was built up by an European Morgan enthusiast. Traditional Morgan 4/4s and Plus 4s have body frames made of English or Belgian ash. No Morgan ever had a chassis made of wood.
