Hello Sally! Junk journal fan of yours here. Since you ask here is my contribution, sorry it is a bit long, and I can only say that the masterclasses you provide are priceless for me as a mixed media crafter. Ruffles are essential for people like me who adore shabby chic, vintage style things, for the edge of a cover, a spine or pages. Small scrap of ruffles around a focal image, cabinet card style... I like the no seam idea. I think I will do what you did with some of your slashed fabric not long ago and put them in the washing. I think this will enhance a tattered look that I love, like something found in a flea market. I normally ruffle by hand, long stitch, needle and thread, but had not tried layering fabrics like that. I like to stamp on fabric straps so that would make a very interesting ruffle. I love laces, organzas, and need to use the stash I have. Will definitely try this idea in the following days. Being pensioner my eyes are not what they used to be, so work slows down, but will try layered ruffles. Is the email you have in the info box the one to use to send you pictures? I cannot promise when but I would like to send you images. These layered ruffles are fabulous in my opinion. Thank you so much for the effort uploading these, for me, masterclasses. 💖💖💖
