Hi Robert, I'm in Portland, OR. I grew up in Yuba/Sutter Co, spending a lot of time in Butte and Plumas, much of my life. We had a cabin at Almanor lake. Family members still have cabins near Mineral... So I'm very connected to the area still. I first became aware of the need for a live fire info stream - when a family friend died in the PG&E-caused 2017 Cascade Fire near Loma Rica. He and his girlfriend died together - and had no warning from officials. 1 Year later, my brother/his wife and her kids nearly died in Paradise. No warning either, but a cop who yelled out his window "run for your lives!" That's when I began to seriously learn about fire behavior and survival. And discovered the flaws in the warning systems. In 2020, I started doing fire evacuation info Live on KZbin for Ore / West Coast too, much as I could. The news went back to Matlock - and I went on the air. It unexpectedly went sorta "viral" from there. I wanted my KZbin channel to be about travel, and ghost town, Wild West history. (Not paranormal.) I hope if I can fundraise more - I hope to have a traveling show, where I capture the stories of Old-Timers and historic places before we lose them to time.
