What should we do if we want to use different colors for different areas?

What exactly is the intensity? Is it how many points are in one area? Because I want to have a value like "how high is the danger at one point" and I have such a value for each point, but if I zoom in to the largest, every single point has the same color, allthough they have different intensitys...

What if 2 sites have the same criteria? Say 2 of the points are blue. If this doesn't work can you modify it to "circle" both? This would be a good feature for many simple maps.
