I didn't know going In that when you swipe on someone they have the opportunity to immediately talk to you back, no need to hope they swipe you back. That kinda ruined it and me 🙃

I think safer is a huge part of why one city is “better” than another. I don’t think Chicago wind in that category.

I been using this app for half a year by recomendation of one of my younger friends. He even told me he met her girlfriend that way, I said: yeah sure. Needless to say, I have no received a single notification other than pay premium. Three possible reasons are: 1. I dont have premium 2. My pictures suck 3. The person in the picture suck😂

I visited and was shocked at how safe I felt and how friendly people were. I’d seen all this stuff about how the city was a hellhole, and that was so untrue. I’m ashamed that I was scared to go, because it was a great time. I went to get deep dish for the very first time and people watched me take the first bite to see if I liked it LOL (I did!). Beautiful city, really kind people.

2:00 Bro, Here in Brazil you have to choose your major with 16/17 before to go to college (that, for many of us, wen don't have the chance to choose where we are gonna study). We depend on a note hehe

i have a degree in marketing but have always had an interest in the banking industry would it be possible to get into banks? i did consider taking CFA. But that aside, I'm genuinely lost with my path in life rn. I've tried 2 different jobs related to my degree but I don't enjoy it.

Such irrelevant video. Thought video will consist of some modern career options which regular finance professional is unaware. Rather it talks about Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Venture capitalist. Waste of time

I work in corporate FX, okay base around $150k but with uncapped comms and equity. I’ve made close to 650k in comms this year and will get around $120k in equity. It’s high performance and can be challenging but I love it. 36, no degree, started as a bank teller 😬

How long do people usually spend in roles like ib before exiting to pe hf etc? Also, are there any other industries other than ib with similar level exit opportunities?

If I can get this girl rn to meet up and we click like we do on phone calls then the app will have been worth it cuz I didn’t have to put in much effort at all until this girl cuz I like her. In fact she seemed too good to be true I started to think she was a catfish/scamming but after talking to her on the phone and checking her phone number she seems legit and maybe your boy has finally gotten lucky

Hinge and dating apps are rough. In the strangest way though Hinge has been a confidence booster for me. Sure I haven’t had incredible success but I’ve had a lot more matches than I expected, and with women I never expected to go with me. I’m actually actively talking to one right now but far too early to know if it’s for real but it’s given me a better shot then I have going to work, the gym, grocery store, then home every day. Zero social life that exposes me to women as a 37 year old male outside of work which is not a good place to try and pursue women 😂

I'm appearing for CFA level 1 exam this year aiming to jump into investment industry, currently I'm holding ACCA and BSC finance with over 8 years of mix accounting and finance experience. My aim is to start aggressively applying for mid-entry level roles after level 2 passed, I'm 33 now. Sometimes feel I'm a bit late. would you like to add something!?

I have been working for 7 years going on my 8th year since uni and have continuously battled with varying levels of work anxiety. I work as a doctor and it's always intense, and I find that no matter how many years of experience I accumulate, I still find myself getting anxious. I am always like "I want to go home" when Im still brushing my teeth and have not even left the house yet. I do notice that it is usually if I know I have something hard or annoying the next day

bryan comes across as a bit young and perhaps newer to the industry with not much experience of what other opportunities exist... there are lots of jobs out there. for example, non-investment personnel at hedge funds (i.e. risk, middle office) have great hours and typically make more than junior-mid range investment bankers (i.e. 250-500k annual).

I'm a "Chad", I got one match at the end of the 30 days, just to message her and quickly realize it was a bot. (hinge just did it in hope I would cancel). I only had 6 ladies on the app w/ 30 miles of me.(I live in a town of 30k people) I did have a few conservation w/ few girls I didn't match w/, including one girl who just messaged me to say "Ewww, you should commit "S' " , after blocking and reporting Hinge was kind enough to get back w me and let me know, Her message was Hinge approved. 70% of the girls on it are liberals that are 4's, who very few men will suffer feminism personalities, or 50+ year olds well past the wall with filters turned to 11, who think they are 10's because their high value boss pumped and dumped them a few years ago. That's what I got for my 50 bucks, and I'm a "Chad" so I hope the best for you guys.
