Why can’t players think for themselves during the game. Coaches are ruining the game

Great vid coach, I just started coaching at the high school level and want to create relationships with college coaches to help our athletes get to the next level. I already created a prospect list but was wondering if there is a template/model that you use to get coaches to respond to any messages you send them?

Whatever the case it is, they look completely retarded with it as somebody else said how come golfers don’t because they don’t want to look like goofs
@rotarycomptech6 күн бұрын
I don’t think it could be more wrong if that’s the case how come some players only wear it under one eye. And like the quarterback from the Eagles, he looks like a goof.

I've always played MLB in a 3-4, except when I went to a football camp over the summer. I was put at LOLB in a 4-3. Easy to understand, felt good, and I played really well. Disappointed I never got a chance to play in a 4-3 over a season. Always felt the 4-3 was a better fit for the talent we had.

Now I’m gonna be watching/listening closer at the line. “Can, Kill” and I forget the third one. I remember Carson Wentz’s first game as QB for the Eagles… he yelled “abort abort abort” and called a time out. I was impressed at his leadership and composure right from the get go. I don’t know what happened to him after that first season. Injuries?

After seeing the defensive front line up, do offensive lineman have to communicate to each other on ever run play in order to identify who is blocking who? Example: ace, deuce block, etc.
@WelchSnack7 күн бұрын
If there’s another one of these.. what are the differences between under/over/tire & how to identify them

If you play a three down front, do you have to have a great NT, who draw a double team.

4-3 probably the most versatile and isn’t really that hard to use only bad part is a lot of teams use it so they prepare for it

They need to make the 5-2/5-3 defense more common, true smash mouth trench football.

What is to keep the opposing team from intercepting the plays being sent in to the QB? I know it is cheating, but a ton of money involved... 😒

Informative video! I gotta ask if there is a difference between Pin & Pull and a Toss Sweep? Because I know you’ll get two guards pulling on Toss Sweeps
@vIQtorySports18 күн бұрын
Coaches may also block toss sweep like outside zone. Or the newer style is to run a pin and pull variation and crack with a WR/TE. Both are common.

If there are 4 players in the backfield, all with eligible numbers, how is it determined by rule which of them is ineligible? One of them must be since there are a max of 5 eligible receivers on every play?
@BloopTheNoop19 күн бұрын
I’m thinking of coaching a team of kids and I think the 4-3 will be the easiest to implement and explain. I think it’s the most versatile with less movement to explain outside of the main task like holding the edge and how to play the strong side not to mention relying on a dominant nose tackle doesn’t seem too sound at this level
@mhoke6319 күн бұрын
Isn't it just easier to say, "A safety that occurs during a PAT is worth 1 point?" While I've never heard of it ever happening, let's say the long snapper shoots it above the holder's head and it goes moving down the field. Then, through a comedy of errors with the ball slipping out of hands and such, nobody can get possession and the ball until a player on the kicking team picks it up on the 1 yard line. Then, if he runs in the end zone and then tackled, it would be a 1 point safety for the defense. Theoretically, a score of 6-1 is possible. I've never heard of it ever happening at any level, though.

This is phenomenal man. I've been a diehard fan for 30 years, but have never learned the intricacies of playcalls, the verbiage, etc., and this is a great breakdown for fans who know the concepts and ideas, but still want to learn what it all means in the verbiage used in an NFL playbook. Great job 👍
