I just started playing for a while now, I'm F2P, but I wouldn't really use voice chat because I'm scared af to talk to people, but I don't think it makes sense for them to remove the voice chat, or voice commands for F2P, how am I going to thank a Medic or Heavy when they heals me⁉️ $5 is R$25 where I'm from, so Steam + TF2 Premium would be almost R$36. This is even worse for countries that have lower currencies Communication is a fundamental part depending on the game, even more so for Team Fortress as it is a multiplayer game. But they think about money and their asses. The only thing left is for them to make the other classes paid, so you also have to pay to play with a certain character. (I hope they don't read this and get the idea to make this a reality lol)

i have lost so many times due to this mechanic, i cant seem to catch a break from it the argument that it doesnt actually do much is completely ridiculous - you can see from a clip in this very video that the damage can range wildly 5:10 people complain about random crits a lot because it triples damage, but bullet spread is ALSO capable of tripling damage as you can see by the 27-60 spread on a relatively close range target

i started playing again after a few years, my skills are lacking but im still alright, but not being able to call for medic is so weird. i looked through my options and saw everything is in order and thought maybe its just a bug, tried to compliment a nice shot from an enemy soldier and couldnt, tried vc, couldnt, nothing worked, thought with the text being shown i may have been thought to be a hacker at some point and got reported and thats why i cant talk. now i find out its due to valve bullshittery. man i even looked up guides at how to bind a call for medic voiceline cus i was so desperate xd. not getting the attention of your medic in the right time literally leads to many failed pushes. this is actually horrible
